Even without his accusers, Moore’s greatest soundbite hits reel paints a picture of a repulsive human being.

Time to retreat to the Non-Spoiler Thread!
I should be so lucky! 😕
THX’s roomate LUH indeed calls him Thex. Movies did not open on huge numbers of screens back then, not even Star Wars, so not as many prints unless a film became a huge hit. Warners was in a state of flux with new corporate overlords so a dumb decision like that seems inevitable.
Rifftax had a field day with Wiseau’s leathery skin and physically improbable love making angles in those scenes. Hence the term hip dick. 😛
That video is so '80’s. 😛
Doctor Demento played that several times on his radio show back in the day. I like it. I even like this silly ditty about Star Trek.

Doctor D had recurring feature on his show called the Audio Torture Chamber where he would play something condsidered truly awful, but I think I’ve blotted out the playlists for that over the years. 😉
I don’t find it that funny. People’s incompetence pisses me off more than anything and The Room is nothing but incompetence.
One man’s cinematic train wreck is comedy gold to another. Not sure I could watch it sans Rifftrax though.
When Adult Swim ran it heavily censored as an April Fool’s gag, I’d never heard of it and thought it was some obscure softcore film like the stuff that usually airs on Cinemax late on a Saturday night.
Well, I was limiting it to cinematic Trek. Tv Trek nightmare fuel goes back even further!
I’m not saying drop it, but controlling the way you live your life is a bit much. I don’t see Disney forcing everyone to wear Mickey Mouse Club ears and sing It’s A Small World After All under pain of death anytime soon.
SW’s rightful home is with the public.
Amen. Feeling anything towards a corporate entity that only wants to control the way you live your life is strange.
It’s Disney not the Borg. Lighten up a tad?
Not sure if I would burst into applause or tears if that actually happened.
Could they put a Fox logo in front of TLJ before next week? 😉
This last week is going to be the toughest. 😕

Welcome to my world! Even the the Ceti eel in Chekov’s ear pales next to that. 😛
R rated doesn’t necessarily mean exploding tribble guts or Scotty swearing like a sailor in a drunken stupor. If Tarantino has a vision and it works, it could reinvigorate the franchise. Maybe he’ll shoot in 70mm again? I’d pay money for an all IMAX Trek film.
I can’t imagine anything in an R Trek film more horrifying than a certain sequence in the very G rated TMP that gave me nightmares back in 1979 and I can barely watch to this day.
At least we’re getting another film with the current cast? I was fearing the studio was going to reboot the whole darn thing. I hope Jaylah returns.
So, even more colorful metaphors and Kirk shagging an Orion female? Not sure the world is ready for full frontal Klingon nudity though. 😉
I think that’s the point?
I’ll just leave this here.

Keep in mind they’re not getting any Fox television or cable networks in this deal. All Disney gets is the studio and the film library, which is arguably the crown jewel in all of this.
Not sure what this would do to The Simpsons being a major presence in Universal theme parks, but they still have Marvel characters and rides under existing contracts anyway.
I was a big fan of early FF run and the '60’s Hanna-Barbera animated version. Doctor Doom is sorely missed in the MCU. Fans actually wanted to see him cross paths with Vader back in the day.
Reed Richards had enough dangerous experiments going on they could have all been trapped in another dimension where time flows differently or something. The Baxter Building could be this mysterious edifice that’s been sealed off for decades, when weird things begin to happen. I’d be up for a FF movie set in the early 60’s before bringing them forward to the current time.
Re: Time. It’s their magazine, they can do whatever they want. It’s not like it’s anything official or legal.
Don’t tell Trumpy that. 😉
I’m sure it does, but there’s probably a big psychological hurdle to overcome for a man to publicly admit he was harassed by a woman. I vaguely recall a girl bully in my youth who probably got away with a lot, because who in the 1970’s would want to tell their parents they got beat up by a girl? Who would even believe it? I don’t think I ever had a run in with them myself though.
The mean girls I remember from high school were masters of playing innocent when the faculty were around.
If the title is called PERSON of the Year, how can you pick a group of people?
Easy to forget Time once picked a silicon based life form.
