I know about the pillars & lights as i have already fixed those, i was saying that the shape of the building doesn't need changing

Let's see a new still of that! (couldn't resist)  :)

The perspectives are ok :) Its the shape of the building that makes that look awkward.

I was sure it could cause some weird feelings..

If you see this from architecture pov the building makes no sense at all :P

Remember im from an other school from ady..

Besides ady already confirmed that this error is fixed already.. :)

However, you've made me notice something subtle that's missing that I would like to see added if possible, which I'll cover as well when I get the chance.  :)

awwwwwwwww :(

-Angel

Where did he confirm that? His had a still of that scene, building looked same to me. Unless it was an early version.

the new one reminds me of a video game.

Great concept, it has always bothered that building abruptly ends, when it seems there should be more of a tapering around based (Perhaps windows added too, as shown behind Leia inside right before they escape with the falcon). on the other architecture.  I like the rounding of the building, but yes it does look a video-gameish, but I'm guessing you just did it as a concept piece not meaning to be a final shot of course.

The problem I have with writing off the age/appearance difference is a proportional one.

Yoda said in TESB "For 800 years have I trained Jedi".  So, let's call him 900 years old just to give him some time to get old enough to become a master and teacher.

Now, humans typically live to 80 or so, some pushing 90.  That means that Yoda's life span is roughly 10 times that of a human.

Working backwards from that perspective, 25 years in Yoda's age difference is the equivalent of a human aging 2.5 years.  For Yoda to look proportionally older from PT to OT, there would have had to have been upwards of 250 years in between.  Of course then all the key humans would be long dead (or nowhere near being born yet, depending which direction you're counting.)

Haven't you ever seen people in the last few years of their lives though? Sometimes they can change  quite a bit.

I know I might get yelled at for suggesting this, but, could we possibly give the Ewoks some eyes? I mean, the 'buttons' are driving me crazy! lol

That has been suggested many times and it really needs to be done where possible.

If the Ewoks looked less like the toys they were going to sell they would be more believable as alien people rather than short actors dressed as teddy bears.

I think the eyes themseves are okay, just add some blinking lids.

Btw Am I the only one having trouble seeing all the images from your gallery 005?

For the record, there wasn't glass behind Ford in the shot because he obviously can't run thru glass or plexiglass, it was an effect caused by fast motion which happens sometimes in movies. I read one place where it was said to be a goof, saying that it was plexiglass put up to protect them from the explosion which would be pointless because the explosion is in another cut away shot. Now that I think of it would there be a way to show Han running from the exploding bunker?

A motion test to see if Han and Chewie could be resized to improve the scale of the Falcon.

Very well done Jaitea. I'm not going to be doing anything to the scaling issues though. If i changed that one shot then i would have to change every other shot where we see the Falcon studio set, which is too many to even think about.

There really aren't many shots of Han on top of the falcon in comparison to the cockpit, it's only a couple of scenes where the outside cockpit is seen with Han in frame so close. It really would not need redone in all the shots. But useless & fruitless for me to bring it up, I guess.

I was messing with that shot. In fact toying with the idea of fix the scale problem when is possible without creating others.

Footage for chewie can be the next shot with some variation to the speed.

had in mind that the moving pan shot when luke and han are talking cant fixed then better play with the subconscious of the viewer.

I think that this trick can work when leia gives briefing to pilots too. if not the shot takes a care from ady like the extend of hangar in his last clip ofc :D

That is an EXCELLENT idea and mock up!

Ok, I know Ady says he can't put snow on Luke's back to make the continuity better on the Luke seeing Kenobi's spirit for the first time on Hoth scene, but can he digitally lighten or somewhat white up the back of the darker part of Luke's outfit a bit in the scene to make it not so jarring?

Here is a nice comparison:

I think the I-SE's head may be off just a hair.  And VI looks almost as dumb as I.  Maybe he really was getting old, and his right eye broke in the year between V and VI.

ROTS has the best CG Yoda. ESB has the best Puppet Yoda. ESB has the best looking Yoda overall

Granted, Yoda is about 900 years old in ESB, even though 25 years is not much time in a creature who lives to be 900, but if he spent 25 years on a swamp planet it does makes sense he would look more disheveled. Try living of the land for the most part for even 3 years and see how different you would look. Older, more haggard.

Angel how about a snow covered back Luke mock up?

Point me what i have to notice/fix. Sometimes my english isnt enough to spot the shot and i see what i can do if i can do it. :)

-Angel

Looking at this link below, notice Luke is covered in snow in the first (top) shot, in the next shots the snow on his back decreases hugely. If there's any to do something about that or make it less jarring it would be great. Easier said than done, though.
