Now...about that wildly inconsistant snow on Luke's back.
Is there a way to make the snow on Luke's back more consistant? I know that would be difficult, but I wonder if elements of other shots could be combined somehow? It's kinda jarring when in one shot he has a lot of snow on him and another he has little.
It's gonna take at least 4 years from now for ROTJ Revisited to be done. I am betting the TPM Blu-Ray with CG Yoda will be out by then.

He does do a great job, but doing a still and doing it the same in motion are two different things.

I love those mock ups, it would be interesting to see if they could hold up as not just stills. While I like the one showing the Snowtrooper there, isn't that supposed to be a narrow neck tube behind Veers leading the rest of the At-At?
You guys are taking it all the wrong way. I wish his mother the best, all this was proposed for when she gets better in the coming weeks. Vaderios didn't seem to think my idea was so horrible, it helps Ady fund his new models (Which he seems to have a problem with getting funds.) and gets a release out that will be screened for feedback by many more eyes, then the project will be even better by the 2.0 release in later in 2010. Of course it plays down on the list way after his Mother whom I wish her a complete recovery.

Here's a proposal/idea, and before you get combative, hear it out, think it through. How about a donation drive to Ady to get what he has finished of ESB:Revisited released by Christmas or by the end of January? Maybe he can finish all the easier effects touch ups if any left, leaving out the new model Wampa and the few other models he wants to build, the donations from this will help fund building and finishing and those for the v 2.0 to be released later in 2010.
Again....
Lets say set a goal at 400 usd dollars/ (243 pounds.) maybe even 500 dollars (304 pounds) he then can release a Version 1.0 by late January, perhaps slightly sooner, and then from these donations he gets more funding to finish all his models and release a version 2.0 later next year. These donation goal amounts are just an example, they can be higher or lower, of course. It's not much different than donations for cameos proposal or a lottery for workprints. Think about it. If agreed to I'll donate at least 50 bucks, you have my word. But whatever goal to is set, he must get that amount to be able to release v 1.0 earlier than if we had to wait months for all the models to be done. This is a way to get the donations rolling in. Build enthusiasm too!
Edit: and yes vaderios, more people seeing v 1.0 will give him even more feedback.

I like all your mock-ups, Angel, but this shot here will particularly disappoint me if Adywan doesn't take the same approach. The dark underside with the small lights from windows, and the lit docking bay enhance the mood perfectly. It makes it look less like a model, and more like a giant vessel.

Because there's no way he could speak like he does in the PT as a simple quirk, he would only be able to do that with an actual, concious effort. "Around the survivors, a perimeter create", or "that you are right, I hope".
That's ridicuous, and just more of the flanderization various characters got in the PT. Palpatine has a tendency to cackle in a sinister manner in ROTJ? Well now come ROTS he never stops laughing and cackling like an idiot. Yoda sometimes says his sentences in the wrong order? Well now in the PT every line is like that, even lines he couldn't possibly have done without purposely thinking about them first.
Palpatine kept it all bottled in for two films, it was good to see the power mad man cackle. And he pretty much only did it during his battle with Yoda.
It's wasn't consistant in any of the movies if you were to nitpick line by line of all the movies. Sometimes he does it, sometimes he doesn't, it's as simple as that.
I still don't get what you are saying, it's more of an "anything the prequels did is bad, anything the OT did was good" mentality, there was nothing wrong with Yoda's speech, it suits his character. Who are any of us to say how he should speak anyway?
There are several instances in the prequels where Yoda does NOT do backwards speak, if you go through line by line, you'll find them pretty quick.
I am very impressed in how much he's got done now, I am saving up for a larger donation because I don't want him to get slammed with mutiple paypal fees if I were to send mutiple smaller donations.
Sure there is a lot to do, but some could be contracted to others, it's kind of like when they said George should get help with his writing, not do it all on his own. But he insists on doing it all himself. (Although he did have help from Hales & supposedly Stoppard but people still complained.)

Well yes i do disagree with the dates. All you seem to do lately is whine about how long it is taking and i'm tired of it. Do you know how much of the film is actually finished? No.So how can you possibly know it won't be ready for he May release date? I want this movie done right, not have to rush it just to get it out early to keep you happy.
Yes, there are more things i need to build to replace the original mattes etc but this costs money, a lot of money in fact. I remember you stating that you were willing to donate to the fund, in fact you said you would donate a lot more if another clip was offered. Well i offered more than that last time. I offered a whole workprint copy and an exclusive clip. But guess what:- no sign of anything from you at all. I guess you were all talk and no action. So don't start moaning again about release dates when i can't possibly fund this thing completely by myself, which is what is slowing the whole process down quite considerably. If it wasn't for the kindness of the members here, this project would have probably been scrapped by now.
Actually, Ganamae, who won the workprint, came up with a great idea on what i could offer to help generate the much needed donations. So here it is:
Anyone that donates from today will have a chance to have a cameo in ESB:R. There are a limited amount of places i can insert members, but i need to go through the whole movie to determine the exact amount. So, if there are more donations than places, another draw will take place. But its probably about 20 places to give you some idea. Plus each person that donates will get to see the behind the scenes footage a MONTH before anyone else once the footage is completed.
I was mentioning dates, never once in my last two posts did I complain. And I hadn't posted in over 2 months so it wasn't lately that I was complaining. As for the donating, it's still coming, was cut in pay on my job over 10 percent so money is a bit tighter than I am used to. Also I was expecting a clip I could actually see, not just a chance of seeing a workprint that odds were I would not get to see it.
I actually don't think anything is unrealistic about the dates I posted. I doubt Adywan disagrees with them himself.
