I knew that, but it was nice to have a bonus. I don't hate the scene.

The main point of the line being changed is that George wanted to show off Cloud City more, and he already had Vader's shuttle parked on the platform so Vader could not go asking for his shuttle if it was already there. I like the quick added shots of the city. I made a mock up of the shot that would keep the original shuttle line, and I just removed the Shuttle off of the platform. That way you could get the extra quick scenic shot without changing any lines.

I believe the 2004 DVD Jabba was the model from TPM, but the coloring was off. It was shaped more like the ROTJ Jabba than the First SE one. What could have been done if a long shot with a stand in having Han walking in the other direction which would eliminate him having to step on Jabba's tail.

The scarring on Anakin at the end of ROTJ was incorporated into the look of ROTS, the idea that Anakin was burned by lava or whatnot was in the original novels and screenplays back in the early 80s, it wasn't just something brought up in ROTS. Lucas told them to go as far as they felt needed, and the make up artist/designer said he figured Anakin had several skin grafts in the 23 years between ROTS and ROTJ, Even in ESB the back of his head looked pretty bad as well.

That SE docking bay shot looked really good though, wonder if it could be used for the shot where Vader docks at the beginning of ROTJ? The underbelly of the SD would have to be removed and the framing around the bay entrance.

People in suits look cheesy, puppets look cheesy, CG looks Cheesy. What else is there? Real Aliens?

Star Wars is different things to different people. It's all a work of fiction, of course, so you can take what you want out of it.

As I noted on the facebook page, shot looks great but the rock formation patterns around the cave entrance (the ground too immediately at the opening) need to be changed/altered as this is a different entrance than the main entrance we saw earlier in the film. http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/5072/starwars50870.jpg

Ady, i had suggested in the past that in the bounty hunter scene some parts of the set should change so its actually the bridge and not something that resembles it. I think you said that the shot was not supposed to be on the bridge.

Anyways these images can show what i mean. Since we know from the establishing shot that there arent 2 doors leading to the bridge but one big (even we see one of them at the end that you cleverly cropped :D) it gives a solid concept of the layout of the bridge.

Not 100% accurate but the key parts are there.

 I think sometime we are too hard on characters like Ric Olie, I mean honestly, who doesn't state the obvious almost daily around other people? It's one way of bringing attention to something and making for extra sure you're on the same page as everyone. Leia says "Star Destroyer." Stating or pointing out the obvious actually pretty realistic to day to day life.

The scene where Ric Olie explains Coruscant and such is Ric explaining to a kid (Anakin) whom had never been there before.

On another topic, back on track, is the stick being erased that pushes up and topples the AT AT model?

 Looks good, but does it make sense based on the outside look of the building? But really the logistics of that building are already off.

I can't believe I even have to say this.

 Hey when it gets released, people will see things that could've been fixed, no one person can see everything. That's why it's good to get many sets of eyes on something. Like I recall the gun turret on the falcon in ANH R not turning with the chair, and after it was pointed out, he went back and fixed it.

Will someone explain to me what this crew of people dressed like Hoth soldiers and whatnot is about? Isn't that just adding stuff because you CAN,  or showing too much as you accuse Lucas of doing? Maybe not, but I haven't seen it clearly explained.
