Actually I think the Leia being Luke's sister was not so much to top the revelations, but as something that motivates luke to fly into rage at Vader in the Emperor's throne room.

Lucas was trying to figure out something he Vader could say to anger Luke into a fighting rage, and that was it. Lucas even said it on "From Star Wars to Jedi."

"eeeah it was kinda creepy knowing that that 8-year-old kid was going to get into Natalie's pants in the near future."

Yeah it would be creepy if he did it when he was 8 but he did NOT, hell...it's creepy knowing my wife was 9 when I was 18.

How about checking out the actors ages when filming before assuming them. It's not that hard, there are plenty of internet sources, imdb.com.

How is that any creepier than as bro and sis almost hooking up? Which actually did smooch by the way, not just have puppy crush looks that nothing came of until 10 years later. I never got the impression that Padme ever thought of Anakin as more than a little boy in TPM. Smiling doesn't equal pedophilia, if so arrest over half the world.

What do you have against a 10 year age difference? I am 9 years older than my wife, so I guess I disgust you. My Grandpa was almost 11 years older than Grandma.

Harrison Ford was 37 while filming ESB.

If I remember correctly in the SE DVD the consistency of the millennium falcon when entering cloud city is off. The falcon is thinner in the the new CG shots and thicker in the old shots. I think this is most obvious when it lands on the platform.

Once the ship has docked it's back to it's usual thickness.

Something to look at AdY?

I'd forgotten about this one. I seem to remember thinking that too, when I saw the new SE footage where it's being escorted by the 'twin-pods' towards the landing platform. The new MF looked a bit 'flattened' in that shot, for some reason.

And you're right about the 'transparency' issues throughout this thing doubleofive, some of it seems very evident at times. Were now beginning to 'see through' a lot of the work that was done by LFL for these 2004 SEs, I think. ;) I've got all your latest shots through now, thanks.

I just though it was the angles of the falcon, and I love those cloud city fly through shots.

How about cropping out the offending, inaccurate parts un the AT-AT? That would be a lot easier. Ady, you did well with zoomed in shots on ANH revisited, I recall in the rebel Yavin briefing room during the death star attack you cropped it closer with no noticable graininess. The image above is a bit blurry, but I am sure you can make that scene look good in as you did with those other scenes in ANH-R.

Also, to make another quick comment on that scene, I think it needs to be darkened a bit as it looks too well lit to be the underbelly of the AT-AT, if they is a way you can darken it some it would be great. Maybe let it get brighter for the seconds the saber is lit.

the idea of 3po not appearing til ROTS doesn't bug me, but how will you be able to pull that off with all the scenes he's appeared in?

When I first heard Anakin built (actually rebuilt) C-3PO I cringed because it seemed contrived, but that was only because I saw the OT first, if I had seen Episode 1 first it would not seem so small and contrived, it works if you watch them from 1-6 for the first time. It's also symbolic of what Anakin largely becomes. The droids are Anakin and Padme's and they are left with the Organas and Captain Antilles at the end of EP3. Why is that so bad, or hard for some people?

Owen not recognizing 3PO is a no-brainer, it's 22 years since he's seen him, C3PO is gold plated, a common looking droid and not the grungy thing he was 22 years prior. Owen seems to regard droids as only appliances anyway, and never even is told 3PO's name by the time he dies a day or two later in ANH.

It all just seems a bit too convenient. 3PO does or says nothing important in all of the PT. He could probably be painted out frame by frame. I would however like to see 3PO in all three movies. Just have him property of Padme throughout the PT, that way some of his interactions with R2 could be preserved.

But, like I said, would it still seem so convenient if you had not seen the OT first?

On the EU issue, it's strange to me why EU doesn't count and carries no weight of truth to some people, but yet a fanedit does.

About removing that box below Luke's speeder. I am betting some would say cut to the next scene just before it is revealed. But that seems to mess the music score up.

Just a quick comment on the Imperial Walkers first seen in the distance, it seems a bit like they are even or close to being all lined up even in a row, when clearly later some are in front, while others are behind. That may be something to think about, just my 2 cents.

Beginning on 2:50, if you follow Lando and the group through the city hallways, you will notice that some of the windows show blue sky outside (even though it was dusk at their arrival at the landing pad). Later on, when C3P0 is shot and the door closes, when Chewbacca shows up, you can see the orange tint from the outside lighting.

You will want to keep an eye on the windows to make sure the outside lighting is consistent.

Did you not see the SE, those windows were replaced with dusk time ones. The above clip is non SE.

And just to ask, on 3:37 I believe you mentioned you will be using the original "Who are you?" audio clip. Granted, I understand the voice was the way it was so as to develop the mystery, but would you consider making the voice sound like the Stormtroopers in ANH (with the mike sound and voice pitch)? No biggie, just an idea.

But please get rid of the stupid red thing that was added to the left side of the shot in the SE on 1:11 here (this clip has the original unaltered scene): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHwBJuwpD6E&feature=related. This original shot is so much better. I loved the gas mine!

You may want to consider altering this shot too (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKo1yLgKbK8&feature=related at 3:49). Considering the earlier scenes with Luke jumping down from the carbonite platform, going into the tunnel, fighting in the hallway, and then they are outside a large pod inside the central core under the cloud city - how did they get into the top of the pod?

Have you ever looked at the Complete Locations book? It shows exactly.

Just a thought about the moving mask thing: in ROTJ when the Ewoks fight inside the biped walker, the imperial soldier also have an obvious moving plastic helmett.

"???WTF??? I don't get what you are saying!"

Lol, sorry, I'm french, sometimes it's hard to make myself clear. I just wanted to say that, in ROTJ, the imperial soldier who is attacked by 2 Ewoks inside the biped walker (don't know how you call it in english) also have a helmet (and not "helmett", sorry again) that really looks like cheap plastic.

Oh. I am sorry to get on you, but the helmets are net meant to be made of metal, But I will look at that scene.

Seems like it would be a lot of trouble to go to. Sure, the reflections were cool in the PT because they had the ability to do it, but it's not something that ever bothered me about the OT. I found it was the shadows cast that stood out more.

This, this, this. Something made of light or plasma or whatever shouldn't cast a shadow. The biggest offender in my book is in RotJ when Vader is walking up the Emperor's stairs towards Luke before he was unwise to lower his defences. Vader has the saber in front of him, then swings it out to the side, and it casts a stick shadow on the ground. Also when Vader and Luke are having their final swings towards The Pit its pretty bad. I don't recall any in ESB.

Ady, are you planning on eliminating lightsaber shadows when you can?

Funny thing is you can see the shadows in most of the shots, but in at least one (not a close up) shot from when Luke is holding it near Vader's throat as he lies on the ground, there is no shadow at all.
