Some new shots...

as for the blockade i will be adding a couple of extra stardestroyers to the initial approach and a disabled stardestroyer in the background during Lukes escape but what i was saying was that Luke could easily slip away unchallenged because its just one fighter and a transport did leave just before he escaped so any remaining stardestroyers (which would only be one or two at the most) would be concentrating on the larger ships, so no need to add loads of stardestroyers for that scene. After all Luke is going in a completely different direction than the rebels so he most likely leaves in the opposite direction so you wouldn't see all the disabled stardestroyers which seem to concentrate above the rebel base on the other side of the planet. When the rebel transport escapes the stardestroyer is now firing upon the ships and destroys one x-wing and after the stardestroyer is disabled you see the transport and remaining x-wing jump to hyperspace.

Those shots look fantastic, Ady. Love the fixed lightsabers.

All of that does look great, I was wondering why he got rid of the turret (Granted it is small in the pic) to the right of the ion cannon?

Also on the gantry there are 4 squares on the floor where Vader stands Asking Luke to join him, in the above frame those are not present. And I hope all yellow lights on the gantry, and vane on the right flash as they should.

Off topic, I was just watching Episode III since I hadn't watched it since opening day at midnight. I forgot what a steaming pile of shit it is. Every aspect of it feels like it was made by someone who hadn't even gone to film school, much less someone who's made several movies in his life. Incredibly choppy editing, no flow between scenes, horrid dialogue, childish attempts at humor ... what the hell happened from 1977 to 2005?

Rant over. Back on topic. Sorry for the distraction.

Maybe you are like 28 years older. And you're right about this beeing off topic.

I second that one about it being off topic. Plus the face I am sick and tired of the same ol' whines and gripes, rehash them endlessly in another forum, that I won't be in. EPIII (one of my favorite movies ever) got around 80 percent good reviews overall, look at any poll or rating site they all average out about the same. Did everyone like it? No way. But most who saw it did.

Lucas had no right to change his mind? I mean I am sure he doesn't even read all his past interviews, heck, over a long time you can forget what you said or thought was originally true. Lucas isn't keeping up with everything he thought of decades ago, nor does he skim thru his old interview transcripts. I wonder if we all wouldn't change our minds about things we created as we grow older, or begin remembering them differently, especially if it became a full blown franchise like SW has become. (I love the new Ion Cannon blast, by the way.)

On topic of the Carbon Chamber scene, when Vader gets a face full...

What about adding some subtle movement to the steam from Vader's mask? As his mask functions as an intake and exhaust. We could see it either suck into his mask or exhale it out. Nothing major, but just noticable if you are looking for it.

it is something we saw in the ROTS when he finally puts on the mask for the first time, which was a cool effect that gave it more life.

It was far too quick to bother with that.

I like the Vader audible reactions, it shows he still feels some pain, even being as much machine as he is. Remember, Vader is not meant to be person who is all powerful, he is a flawed person who didn't stay with his potential.

But go back and listen to the original pre SE editions of the vhs tapes or maybe even the pre SE dvds (Which I don't have.) Vader's Carbonite groans sounded like two different ones, in the SE's they both sound more or less the same.

I was wondering about the "AAAHH!" when Vader falls off the Carbonite platform, it seems to be a repeat of another he does earlier in the duel when Luke put the steam tubes in his face. In the original version there were two differenct sounding "Aaahs!" They both seem exactly the same in the SEs.

Seriously though, this stuff could go on forever, no matter what is added in or redone there would be other people saying this or that more could be done.

That being said, there is one thing that could be done to remedy the scene of Han stepping around Jabba without stepping on his tail. It would not be easy to do and it would be a long  shot (further away) could be shown with Han walking to the place (Using a stand in) he is right after he steps on Jabba's tail without going around him. The whole hanger background would have to be created again, this is something likly only ILM or another big effects house  has capabilities to do, I am kinda surprised is wasn't thought of.

Ady, I think that large building would not be seen in those two shots anyway, as it would be to far to the left from those angles you've done there. Really though, I'd rather you screw continuity a bit than cut out any of those falcon SE Cloud City fly-in shots.

Can't some transparency issue be fixed by isolating the part (Like in the cockpits looking out) that is see thru and freezing the element? I know if the ligting/shadows change as the snowpeeders banks it would be harder to do.

It seems like seeing thru the shuttle wings would not be hard to fix if u isolate the shuttle somehow. It's kinda hard to explain.
