vaderios, your still version certainly had a marvellous view there. Great stuff.

Thanks!

What about all those other round (and half circle) windows seen fleetingly in the dining room scene and out side the room? No one notice those?

Looks terrific, I know this is just an example, but that particular building is reused too many times I believe.

If you notice that oval mirror thing above the window there, the original pre SE window elements are reflected in it. (Watch the NON SE footage you'll see what I mean easier.) There are several of those round windows that weren't changed though, some also in the dining room later, and they pass some in other scenes, some are half circled and are easy to miss if you are watching close.

The Ewoks have so many traps already laid it doesn't make sense that they could be there overnight. The only way around that is that they have already been planning to attack the base and have already been killing the Imperials.

The flaw in ROTJ isn't so much the story but the execution of it, it lacks due scale and the focus is in the wrong place.

The Ewoks don't really defeat the Empire, the Empire's own hubris defeats them, they throw all the technology and troops into the battle but refuse to acknowledge the little people.

Also it's much easier to add more troops, Ewoks and model elements into forest footage three decades on than adding more Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford into sets.

I always thought those traps were already set for the giant Goraxes and whatnot, then the Ewoks used them on the Empire. The in-universe explanation.

I've never had a problem with the different coloured IG-88 droid being there. It actually has been painted as you can see different shades and weathering on it. All droids don't look metallic. Just look at the beginning of the movie , we have a white protocol droid that isn't metallic. so i won't be doing anything here..... or will i? lol

has anyone noticed that in the final shot of that scene smack bang in the bottom middle of the frame is a recoloured set piece from the Tantive IV? And one of the droids from the jawas garage sale is in there too & in the first shot you can see 4-LOM with a different body

Actually those panels were also used on the Star Destroyer bridge pits too.

This may have been mentioned before, but continuity-wise it's baffling that there were THREE types of battle droids (of which presumably thousands were built) around at the time of the Naboo blockade and Clone Wars, but none have ever been seen since. Did they all self-destruct at the end of the war?

I'd have preferred that an existing design, like IG-88 or this guy had been reverse-engineered for the prequels - in the case of the CZ droid I'm not even sure we see a working model in the OT, so it might have been cool to see them in their heyday as part of a formidable army (they sure look scary enough!)

Ady put one in the the Jawa Sandcrawler jump heap in ANH.

Still no news! I'd prefer a bad excuse to....... NO NEWS! ;)

You are really starting to piss me off now Sevb32. You bloody moan and moan that this edit is taking ages to do, then moan some more when i announce that i will be building more models for filming which delays the movie even more, then bloody moan when i haven't posted anything in about a day. Make up your damn mind. do you want me to work on the edit to get it done quicker or have to come in here every day to give you news thus wasting a lot of my time when there would be nothing to say? And now you accuse me of giving bad excuses when i do post. The "dead thread" posts have gone beyond a joke now and that last remark has pushed me beyond my patience. Consider this a polite warning.

Now, because the fund dried up a while ago i was thinking of releasing a new clip but it wouldn't be exclusive just for donaters. Yes, donaters would get to see it a little earlier than everyone else, but it would be released publicly a couple of weeks later. This way everyone gets to see it no matter what.

So sevb32, was it all just hot air from you then? lol

Ok, i'm starting back on ESB:R this weekend now i've finished my theatrical TPM. I needed that break from ESB:R. But, because i have just found out that my back Muscles are deteriorating to the point that walking has now become complete agony after a few minutes (nothing to do with me sitting at the pc hours on end by the way), i will be stuck in the house sitting down, so where better than at my computer or at my work desk building the models instead of just being stuck in front of the telly doing nothing. So i apologise if i come off as a bit aggressive lately. 24/7 pain is not a nice thing to live with

I guess you didn't notice the wink, intention was to get people talking and something going in here than it was to jump on you about anything. No need to get angry, and the dead thread posts are for the same reason, to get people talking. I am sorry to hear about your pain. I hope it gets better. :(

Well, despite the fact that I HATE the TPM puppet, it's preferable to me rather than that CG abomination. I don't know why, it just doesn't look right to me.

I think most people liked the CG Yoda in AOTC and ROTS.  I thought it was well done. Just my 2 cents.

TPM yoda puppet was made to be a "younger" version of Yoda, that's why he is different. Of course for a 970 year old guy, you don't change that much in 10 years I believe!

But it's true that he don't look much younger after all, just different.

But you might change a bit living in a swamp for 25 years!! It's akin to an old human going downhill the last 3 years of their life.
