Workprint cover?
Time
I was wondering if any high-resolution, good covers of the Sith workprint (ones that make mention of the fact that it's a workprint instead of pretending to be official releases ) - are floating anywhere out there? I collected material from which I could start editing one on my own, but if there's a good cover out there already, I might as well just grab that instead...)

(I have quite a few workprint DVDRs that I store next to the official DVDs with the finished films, and I intend to do the same when Sith comes out on DVD... )

My favorite covers ;)
Time
I wanted to edit my own covers, but then I found a downloadable set that I liked most of all the covers I've seen so far, so instead of reinventing the wheel, I made some minor changes to remove whatever I disliked in them, and printed them out in their modified form... if anyone collects different cover variants, here they are.

I have no idea who made them, but some of the changes in the versions below include: correcting orthography, inserting alternate posters and adding notes mentioning that these are the true theatrical versions. (Ep. VI had a "Revenge of the Jedi" cover; this was replaced with the traditional "Return" poster)

Does anyone have this...
Time
...but in its real colors - with the blue tint, with some fingers having skin color, etc.?

http://img394.imageshack.us/img394/4963/redi0vt.th.jpg

I'm printing myself the trilogy covers at the moment, and I thought this would make the perfect front for Jedi... but the problem is that this is the only high resolution version of this graphics that I can find. Evidently, someone had this in high quality, but instead of leaving it untouched as it should be, he foolishly and inexplicably colorized it red... :-\

Info Wanted: Question - some expanded and workprint versions...
Time

I see many here fiddle with extended versions, workprints, etc., and judging by the interest in them (e.g. the question about the extended Waterworld), there’s some interest in such versions… so I was wondering if, perhaps, someone here would know anything about the possibility of finding any of these anywhere…

“Black Hawk Down” - the workprint version.
“The Bloodline Story” - Kevin Yagher’s first cut/workprint of “Hellraiser IV: Bloodline”
“Boogie Nights” - the long workprint/rough cut version
“The Dark Half” - the workprint for the King adaptation.
“Darkman” - the unaired 30 minute pilot for an abandoned TV series (http://www.movies.westumulka.com/darkman/television.html)
“Eaters of the Dead” - John McTiernan’s first cut/workprint of “The Thirteenth Warrior”, with Revell’s score and before Michael Crichton’s takeover.
“King Kong 1976” - the longer TV version of this remake, 3 hours long.
“The Mask” (the comedy) - the workprint with missing SFX, animations, Carrey doing everything with a real rubber mask, etc.
“Starship Troopers”- the workprint/rough cut version.

The Indiana Jones Project (Released)
Time
By the way, among my soundtracks, I have a CDR titled "Indiana Jones and the Forbidden Eye". It's a boot with a recording of the score and dialogue used in what, I've read, was an Indy-themed rollercoaster ride in the DisneyLand. It's boring and not at all memorable (and, musically, it mostly recycles Williams in questionable quality and with bad editing), but if there was some space to use on the DVD-Rs, it might make an Easter Egg...

As for the isolated movie scores, I would not bother with those, personally... They would be of interest to us score collectors only, and I can assure you that any self-respecting score collector already has the expanded Raiders, the 2CD Raiders bootleg, the official Temple, the fan 2CD Temple, the official Crusade, the "Lost Crusade" and the 2CD Crusade bootlegs (and probably more - I think I have all Indy soundtracks in existence, even those mostly pointless, such as all game score rips...) Using up space for them on those discs would be rather redundant...

*** The Official DigitalFreakNYC Release Thread*** (SW, Indy + Others!)
Time
The current DVD has ZERO extras..

My DVD of "Bram Stoker's Dracula" most certainly has a documentary "Blood Lines: Dracula - the man, the myth, the movies" and a costume gallery, in addition to the trailer.

The only "Dracula" that I see listed in Criterion's releases is "Blood for Dracula", which has nothing to do with "Bram Stoker's Dracula", by the way...

<strong>The Official Greencapt 'Batman &amp; Robin: De-Assified' Edit thread</strong> (Released)
Time
I fear watching this, unfortunately... the only possibility that I might rewatch anything related to Shoemaker's "Antibatman and Nonrobin" would be if it Thurman was kicked out and the idiot in a mask was changed into Bane - i.e. the ultimate combination of self-educated intellectual and self-trained fighter. And that would require new footage to be shot... much footage...

Star Wars T.V. 2006! Kevin Smith wanted?
Time
Kevin Smith is an obnoxious arrogant twerp who has yet to make watchable film that isn't an exercise in either pretentious "artism" or repulsive "fartism" (represented e.g. by "Jay & Silent Bob...", one of the worst infantile non-comedies ever shot). If people like him took over Star Wars, may God help it. You might as well give Star Wars to Harry Knowles and Drew McWeeny. Or, hell, straight to Supershadow.

An article of lies and disgust - George Lucas talks re the 2004 OT SE DVD release...
Time
Actually, accusing Lucas of "milking" the trilogy is remarkably idiotic, because if he *was* "milking" it, he would have constantly been releasing *everything* he has, especially the items for which there is that extremely high demand - the OT, the "lost cut", the deleted scenes, the Holiday Special... I may be annoyed by his refusal to allow anything he doesn't care for anymore to be released, but I respect his relentlessness. Of course, it's his biggest fault at the same time, since he is *too* independent. If he wasn't, and if someone in his surroundings dared criticize him loud enough in time, there'd be no Greedos shooting first, no Gungans, no Hayjerks in RotJ...
