Satine - “I presume you are acquainted with the collection of half-truths and hyperbole known as Obi-Wan Kenobi.”
I just want to hear Anakin ask Obi-Wan why he left him to burn the way he did. I want some passionate dialogue from both sides about everything that went wrong.
Selling to Disney was the best thing that could have happened for Star Wars. I wish they purchased it sooner.
I still cant get over how well Bill Burr’s dialogue came across. This show has so much going for it. Multifaceted appeal.
It’s a mystery-thriller. That makes me think there will be a reveal at some point of someone as a villain we didn’t expect to be. Hopefully with an intricate plot. I really enjoyed Russian Doll, so I think it’ll be great.
The limited series will just be one season, so I think they have a better chance of showing up on disc sooner rather than later. I’d love The Mandalorian on disc, but I think we’re a long way from that, if ever.
I turn most streaming services on and off as needed, depending on their content, but I’m loving Disney+ and watch it all the time, and they’re just getting started really. I don’t think I’ll be canceling anytime soon, so there will definitely be many rewatches of The Mandalorian for me.
The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Rangers of the New Republic will “intersect” and “culminate into a climactic story event.”
My guess would be finding Ezra and Thrawn in the unknown regions also leads to the emergence of The First Order and more about why they want Grogu.
I hope we get a teaser soon.
I wonder what they mean by “the intersection of animation and visual effects.”
I love that Patty Jenkins is inspired to make this from her childhood experiences watching her father, a fighter pilot, and being around that environment. I also like that it is after TRoS because everything is unknown. Anything can happen to anyone.
When Kathleen Kennedy announced all the new projects, she didn’t give any description of what Taika Waititi was working on, but there was a logo that appeared next to a pic of him. I can’t help but wonder now what it is he’s making.

Anyone here a fan of Office Space? TPS reports reference?

Everyone’s favorite scoundrel Lando Calrissian will return in a brand-new event series for Disney+. Justin Simien, creator of the critically-acclaimed Dear White People and a huge Star Wars fan, is developing the story.

Are you sure the “Beyond the Original Trilogy” section doesn’t need to be separated more? Maybe one for each trilogy or at least a separate section for TV?

Yesterday was insane. I’m very excited to see everything that was announced, but Andor remains my most anticipated, even more than Rogue Squadron. That sizzle reel and concept art just added to my anticipation.
Despite hating the term High Republic i much prefer old republic. They should be making these as films.
Those are two different eras. The Old Republic was thousands of years before TPM but the High Republic is only hundreds of years before.
The Acolyte is described to take place near the end of the High Republic.
