Looking at that site is probably the most constructive thing that Sean Wookie has done in weeks. I respect your answers to the lordjedi test lordjedi, and you're quite right, many of them deal with opinion and taste. I would love to answer a similar test made by you. Not only would I love to test my own political bias with what what surely be provocative questions, I would also love to hear the answers and reasoning to such questions by some of this sites pinko members.

I've pretty much given my answers, I don't mind stating them all in one post but it would be much more interesting to me to answer a similar list of your questions. You're quite right that this has all been very one way, I would enjoy answering a similar list of questions which you feel would be revealing as to my lack of common sense vs. political cheerleading or whatever else.

You have no idea where I'm coming from. You've probably assumed that I'm some liberal jerk off because of the fact that I didn't bring my pom-poms, but your sadly mistaken.

1. Any decent human being would agree that any sick child should be taken care of by a civilized society. This is not an argument for socialized medicine, it is precisely the opposite. It is a demonstration that your (and my by the way) opposition to socialized medicine has caused you to think of a question of simple human decency in the context of a current political argument. The answer is we should treat all sick children, regardless of whether or not we are opposed to socialized medicine for all citizens. Children are helpless and cannot be held to the ideal of American self reliance.

3. Bill Clinton (although I hate his guts) is much more intelligent than George Bush. This is plain to see, and has nothing to do with which man you find to be more decent or admirable. George Bush is a Dope and Clinton is highly intelligent regardless of there political ideologies. Again your politics, specifically your rightful disgust with Clinton, and political similarities with Bush, have blinded you to something that is plain as day.

5. The right to carry a handgun should not be a state by state issue any more that the right to free speech should be a state to state issue, it is guaranteed by the second amendment and should not limited to carrying a weapon only in your home state. Some conservative you are.

6. The correct answer is Seinfled.

You're pretty sensible Chatlab, with the exception of the first question. If our society were to allow abandoned children to die of curable medical conditions we would not be fit to call ourselves civilized. That's why such a question separates sensible people from folks who rely to heavily on political ideals. The political ideal of self reliance is important, but not enough to let some five year old die of Leukemia. In this case, anyone but a fool can see that such a child's life is more important than taking a conservative ideal to the ultimate extreme.

You're right I had two questions 5s and for that I deserve to be flogged. That was an interesting way to avoid a very telling queston. Now that have a better feel for your opinions, let me narrow it down.

1. Should we as American citizens pay for the extended medical care (i.e. cancer, heart defects, etc.) of children whose parents do not have medical insurance?

2. Should gay couples be able to adopt children that are otherwise not wanted by straight couples and are going to live in a foster home if not adopted by a homosexual couple. Please don't qualify this question, anwser it as a hypothetical if you must.

3. Do you believe that Bill Clinton would have a higher IQ than George Bush on a widely accepted IQ test (spacial reasoning, visual memory, etc.) ?

4. Should women be allowed to discretely breast feed in public?

5. Should American's have the right to carry a concealed handgun in any state, or should states be able to decide which out of staters are allowed to carry in their state as they can now?

6. What is the greatest tv sitcom of all time?

arnie.d - It is hard to grade your test with two questions left blank. Omitting those questions (reluctantly) you are approximately 83% sensible. You only missed one question that you answered (Oswald killed JFK).

Darth Chatlab - you are approximately 25% percent sensible. That is not to say that you're a dope, this test just gauges the common sense vs. political mockingbird response.

lordjedi,
After engaging in various arguments with you over the past few days, I would like to ask you the following questions in order to be less ignorant of your overall viewpoint. Feel free to ask me similar questions as I have no problem answering them. That way we can get to know the extremes of each others viewpoints and avoid wasting time on arguments on which we will never see eye to eye.

1. Should a child be given medical treatment free of charge by American taxpayers if his or her parents do not have health insurance?

2. Is Ann Coulter a cunt (does she make you at least a little bit uneasy)?

3. Is Rush Limbaugh a hypocrite (do you find him laughable)?

4. Is George Bush a conservative?

5. Is George Bush a bit of a dunce?

5. Should gay couples be able to adopt children that are otherwised not wanted by straight couples and are going to live in a foster home if not adopted by a homosexual couple. Please don't qualify this question, anwser it as a hypothetical if you must.

6. Who killed JFK?

7. Should pot be legal?

8. Should the "God Hates Fags" people have the right to protest at the funerals of American Soldiers? I am not asking this in terms of a states rights question, I'm asking whether or not YOU feel that they should have that right.
