Well, it is a fun thread. Maybe I'm just annoyed because I can't think of any misconceptions I had with the movies. :p Other things, yes, but I can only think of a couple of examples from pictures.

I know it's a weird program at first, but since most fan edits are not released as torrents, it really is the best way of getting them. You can set it and forget rather than babysitting the downloads. Before jDownloader, I'd be losing 7 or 8 hours of downloading time overnight, plus any time I just wasn't around the computer during the day. I even used to set the alarm on my watch so I could set up the next file to download without wasting any time. :p What might take half a day now used to take 2 or 3 days [or longer] sometimes!

Plus, we get massive speed from Megaupload, even as free users. I can get an entire DVD in a couple of hours or less.

I haven't seen it in a while. I think I previewed it twice, then watched it at least once after it was officially released, probably to do my review of the finished version. But every time someone replies in the thread here or at FE.org, I want to see it again. :) My mother hasn't seen it yet either.

Very, very agreed. I'm so tired of hearing it in every other movie and TV show nowadays. It's not even an in-joke anymore!

That's new to me too. I don't see how a brand of router would make any difference whatsoever in downloading an edit. Is it your first time using it, C.S.? Trust me when I say that once you get the hang of it, you'll wish it was around a long, long time ago!

Got a $2 bill from Belize and despite it being from 2003, the picture of the queen on it has her looking around 30 years old on it. Kinda weird.

Yeah, there have been some decent suggestions, but I still like Star Wars Begins the best.

Without Star Wars Beginning, you couldn't Build Empire and there would be no Returning to Jedi. ;)

That's too bad. I would imagine Rinzler could've said 'I don't want to use this picture' if he felt strongly enough about it, but then again, he got a lot of cooperation from high sources. Wouldn't want to lose them by being difficult. :p

When I get the book, I'd love to compare notes with you, even if you just say 'look at this picture on that page,' etc...

I'll soon be able to see some of the pictures people have been posting from The Making of The Empire Strikes Back, as I bought a new copy tonight through Abebooks for $48 from the U.K., free shipping. A guy at eBay has a used copy for $45...but I just found out he wants $33 to ship it. :p

Even though I objected to many of the changes, it was still the first time I got to see any of the Star Wars movies in a theater, so there will always be a warm place in my heart for the 1997 versions. :) That trailer with the TV was awesome, too. I can still get goosebumps watching that one.

I dunno, I kept picturing the 2004 version as much more yellow and...Suliban-ish. You try to block out things and they change over time. :p
