This one will be my true vision. The others were only "workprints".

Ooo. Well, I know you said you weren't taking suggestions, but I feel I have to speak up as a modern moviegoer.

I think you should have the characters step in large piles of dung every once in a while. I think the kids would really go for that.

You might also re-dub some of the aliens with a hip new language. You know, for the kids to imitate. It could be the next big thing!

Chewie also seems like the type that breaks wind a lot. Just saying.

Came across this convention video.  It's a real shame about the audio!

It contains the only interview I've ever seen with Phil Brown:

Great one! Be sure and read my suggestion over there.

Ok, I'll say it here: remove the left channel and double up the right. And, since the audio does seem to be a 50/50 split, you could conceivably double up the right and have a doubled left playing behind more quietly, like DVD commentaries, then more loudly when appropriate.

Especially when you consider that not a long time ago Sidney was running out of water and the country was suffering from Bush fires.

Yes, I remember those fires too. :( I know a few Aussies through the Buckethead forum and they give us updates about such things. I've seen videos of the flooding too. Amazing to see regular city streets with literal rivers crashing through.

On a semi-related note, in the summer, Ontario and parts of Quebec and the border states experienced an earthquake. I didn't feel it. However, later that day, my town also had a tornado! Quite the timing.

I gotta admit that 99% of the time I don't know who the people are that you are quoting :p

You're not the only one, especially if they're Brits. ;) I probably know far more British celebrities than the average North American OTer, but it's like watching Top Gear, where I don't know most of the guests there either. If they're on a show I haven't seen and are not exactly A-list celebrities...*shrug*

I'm sure you guys would have the same problem with Canadian celebrities, especially since I don't know many of them either. :p

Have I mentioned I hate YouTube commenters?  I guess I've been spoiled by the wonderful people who comment on my own videos, but I venture for one second outside of those calm waters and into complete idiocy...

Agreed!  It was a nightmare trying to find decent quality clips that I could link to in my 'movie trailer showcase' thread...which weren't cluttered with swear-littered lunacy from argumentative commenters.

I've been seeing a rise in racially insensitive comments on my own stuff lately. I have a series of videos from Jim "The Hammer" Shapiro, a lawyer who formerly practiced in New York and made crazy TV ads. Well, the comments were always friendly enough, but the last 4 or 5 in a row have basically been nothing more than "need a Jew?" I'm starting to think it's the same person with a different username, but wouldn't be surprised if it was separate morons either. Anyway, those comments are removed before the digital ink dries. I don't need that nonsense below my videos.

Sadly he and others fill a *perceived* vacuum for people who don't know there are other avenues.

Same thing happens with a couple of people on eBay I know of who buy readily available CDs for $15 then sell them for $40 saying they're RARE! (yes, they use caps) It's legal in their case, but everyone who knows about them hates them anyway.
