Trek, huh? Well, hopefully this won't affect GeneralGrin either.

Good news about the crawl. :)
Who's Andreas? (I probably know, but forget)
^Good! Nice to see that they have that 'willing to help' standpoint. Some groups might get huffy or downright militant about stuff like that. :p
Does that mean they go faster? Have more horsepower?
Except for the turbolasers. :p
Well, it was really a one-sided conversation. ;) (in other words, he was "explaining" sci-fi technology to me)
All this talk of recoil and such reminds me of a conversation I had with a Star Trek nerd (he likes Star Wars, but not nearly as much) around 15 years ago about how none of these things would really need to recoil because they're just lasers, even if they're powerful. Of course, they start getting into plasma projectiles and canisters (like with Chewie's bowcaster) and whatnot, but still, it is more of a 'looks cool' thing. :p
More like
with a touch of Moe for good measure. :) So many things to get excited about, especially on Hoth.
Gone already, huh? Was it because of the spammy signature links?
Once yet again, stupid NBC!
Be sure and check out the fanedit that turns the first movie into a Twilight Zone episode as well: http://fanedit.org/599/
^"Nearly thirty years later (wow, has it really been that long?), 'Beverly Hills Cop' continues to deliver the laughs and excitement."
...and? Making you feel old[er]?
*slapping forehead* Good catch, Frank.
^Star War The Third Gathers: Backstroke of the West? :D

LFL has been working on collecting fans talking about the movies at Comic-Con and Celebrations for several years. (started soon after the launch of PvsG) When they put out the result of those that will be the response to PvsG.
They're doc will not feature one single negative thought about the movies or LFL in general, I'm sure.

Thanks for clearing that up. I got the audio one not long ago and haven't listened yet. Didn't know there were separate versions.
When Jar Jar says 'bombad,' is he talking about the Lakers? :p
If you get dual layer discs, you won't need to use DVD Shrink at all. (unless that's your preferred burning program, I guess)
Cool. The audio has been around for a long time. The guy that hosted it re-upped it a few weeks ago after I asked him for it. Scroll down a few posts.
Faster, more intense puppets. :p
Seems like they're missing a lot of points. :p But that's typical, really, especially in cases of outsiders looking in.

What parts of the Silent did you help out with.
Proofread and edited the title cards. Took us a few weeks and dozens of e-mails, but it was fun. Also helped with "The War of the Stars" in the same capacity. Much less work with that one, as only R2 was subtitled.
"They used TMBTM's Silent SW version primarily to explaining how he modified the originals towards a silent era look, to show off what fan editors do."
Hey, that means I got in it too...sorta. ;)
