STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Unbelievable, Ady. It's like putting out a woman that's on fire and saving her life, then being sued by her because you touched her thigh or something, which she considered harrassment.

Hate to say so, but this really reminds me of an episode of "King of the Hill" when they unknowingly hired a druggie at Strickland Propane. Then they couldn't fire him because it was against the law to do so. It took Hank quitting (which he would never in a million years do, normally) to lower the number of employees and bring a hiring loophole into play to get rid of that loser. You start to know how Batman feels when you see the common man getting pushed around like this. :p

Anyway, I hope I can contribute again sometime. (you're only the second person/thing/corporation I've ever donated to in my internet career, y'know!) I hate to hear of these setbacks, especially when it's something totally out of your control.

You know, I think the speeder is being appropriately crushed. The full weight of the AT-AT is not going on it. It's not jumping on it. They just sort of bring the one leg down from a certain number of feet up. The canopy would be crushed for sure, and it is, but I don't think it would sustain too much more damage than it already does in the film. No pancaking, anyway.

Just a thought. ;)

Yeah, I wouldn't care if he did anything at all with it, just basically saying that if anything were to be done, something very simple like a glow would be more than sufficient.

I heard on that "Bring Back...Star Wars" special that they covered the inside of R2 with pictures of nekkid women for Kenny to look at. :p But he couldn't see anything anyway because it was way too close to his face.

I still haven't finished reading the whole A New Hope thread.

I came in late on that one, but read most of it. (I think it was up to 83 pages or so when I started) Really fascinating. He went through a lot! Some of the technical and financial issues are popping up with ESB:R, but hopefully not in the way of more personal issues. A less determined person may have given up with some of the abuse he received at times.

I think it's safe to speak for many, many members here in saying that the bigger problem isn't losing the "bring my shuttle" line, but that the pacing feels messed up by adding in the extra scenes, even if it is just 15 to 20 seconds. Even in the theater, I thought "why did they get some guy [yeah, I know, I know... ;)] to voice Vader for such a throwaway scene?"

THE STAR WARS SAGA - 1080P AVCHD DVD-9 for PS3 & Blu-Ray players - Episodes 1, 4 & 5 available now

I'm in the same boat, TV-wise. (I have a PS3, though) Ady recommended one to me and it's $500 off right now, so maaaaaybe I'll get a new TV soon. :)

I think I'll try it with VLC right now, though. *trying* Yep, it works. It would pause after a bit, though the audio kept going. I'm hoping to watch it on a TV soon now, though.

As bkev said, each to their own, but I'm in the camp that will need more than George just fixing previous errors (such as lightsaber colours and sound mix) in any future releases that are put out, to impress me now. We'll see what eventually comes out, but in the meantime it's only Ady's future versions that I'm looking forward to expectantly.

Well said. With all the great Star Wars fan edits that have come out, my expectations for any new versions of them that LFL puts out get lower and lower. And I'm sure in many instances, it'll just feel like they're ripping off said fan editors, too.
