That's why I suggested to him that the thread title should be changed to Silent Film Edition to try and make what it is clearer. To be perfectly honest, I was thinking of the Raiders edit when I saw that this was a "serial," too. (which I have, but haven't watched yet)

Edit: In the time it took me to type that, 005 answered with some nice specifics. :) I agree about the excitement factor. They're not Vulcans; they get excited about things, and there are versions that sound a little more...emotive.

Having watched the latest clip, what are your thoughts on the "the first transport is away" announcement, Ady? Keep it as in the clip, or change it? I know there were different versions recorded.

Do you think it was a mistake, MJ? It was an odd choice, for sure. :p I can't remember if Ady has commented on this or not. I never understood why it was there or why it happened. If it wasn't there, it might tighten up the action.
