STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

First of all, it is already fixed on the 2004 DVD...

Secondly, can someone find the video I'm talking about, please? It may be in Building Empire... *checking* YUP! At 1:40:28. Take out your copy and watch. The lighting is high and shows his white shirt clearly. Then they clap the clapperboard in front of Harrison, and the lights go down. His collar remains light, but the rest of his shirt gets very dark...as if he's wearing his jacket. Shadows are tricky things, and that's all this ever was.

Here, at 1:28 (and it's even more obvious on the DVD): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4Md_A2Plug&feature=channel_page

Now, let's put this to bed. ;)

My problem with Transformers is that it gets to be too much at times. Too over the top, especially in the big battle at the end. I was sitting in the theater thinking 'enough already!', especially at that shot of the guy sliding on the ground shooting up at one of the decepticons. Ridiculous.

As for the lens flares...meh. I know that whatever Ady adds, it'll be tasteful, but I don't really care one way or the other. Maybe if we saw a sample, he could change some minds.

Right, the obvious question is why does Owen buy 3PO in Ep. IV.

Well, for one thing several years have passed. 3PO is painted a different color (and there are other protocol droids that look like 3PO).

The other thing is that in SOTDS he turns to Beru and says, "Doesn't even speak Bocce." He's a protocol droid, and he can't even do that. He's good for nothing.

So if you look in Ep. IV in that light, Owen seems very wary of 3PO, and the resemblance is bothering him.

"Do you speak Bocce?" he says finally.

And of course 3PO claims that he does. So Owen buys him. The funny part being that he bought 3PO twice.

Pretty funny...and clever. The real question, though, is: can 3PO play bocce?

I remember reading an article where it stated that most professional cinematographers were "appalled" at how bad AOTC looked in theaters (due to the still-new HD filming). The colors are so screwed up, and combined with all the phony looking digital effects it looks like a cartoon.

Word. That's part of the reason I like the Silent Film version of the saga, as it sort of "hides" a lot of the insane CGness that is apparent at times in the prequels, and removes the cartoonishness of the color, of course.

In the meantime, I WANT A 'FAINTING' GOAT!! :)

They're so cute and funny! :D I've seen clips of them several times over the past few years, most recently on Mythbusters.

Mike Rowe also cleaned up after them on Dirty Jobs.

Oh yeah!

The best I've seen of them, by FAR, is from a show called...uh...I forget. It's English, though. It'll come to me... If I could find my tape of it, maybe I'd remember. :p

I think a lot of radio hosts do that, not just Bob and Tom. I mean, if they don't laugh, it's just kinda dead air. And most suck up to the host anyway. :p

Nice pics of the prop and the close-up! I is funny how the SE costume looks so radically different than the earlier shots. What is wrong with them and not noticing such things? Sure, pobody's nerfect (in Australia), but it's not even subtle.
