Maybe G.E. Predator could use it, too. Wouldn't hurt to have it up with the proper a.r. a few times.

I'm a bit hurt by that, Ripplin.  I uploaded the trailer in my YT last night to share with all, especially those YT viewer who have not yet seen the trailer...yet I'm not really feeling any appreciation for my efforts just because the picture is a little stretched.

All Ripplin meant was that more people will find it if more people have it up.  Some people won't appreciate it not being in the right AR and will give the whole project a pass if they think that's the way its going to be...

Yes, that's all I meant. And I do appreciate your effforts, G.E! I just had the same sort of concern that 005 mentioned. I figure that if someone actually got YouTube to display it properly, they could share the wealth, so to speak. ;)

^^^^I love that avatar too, Janskeet. :)

Chainsaw, how did you get it up there with the right aspect ratio?! Nicely done. And maybe you could share the video with Ladfyferry so she can replace the one she put up with that one? (she does have the unofficial official Revisited account) Maybe G.E. Predator could use it, too. Wouldn't hurt to have it up with the proper a.r. a few times.

Star Wars Prequels/Original Trilogy: The Complete Scores (Released)

This DVD with the isolated ROTJ score isn't an official print is it?

No, EditDroid made it. And regarding the "lost" track, Beatho says "There's a slight part of it used in EditDroid's isolated score release of ROTJ but it's only about 10 seconds of it that is then looped. It's also used in the documentary 'From Star Wars To Jedi', but these, I think are the only sources." ABC also heard it and said it's not including in a set.

Great job on the Boba Jangos, ben! :)

Which version of the Holiday Special preservation do you have? I can tell you the KCCI one is surprisingly high quality. Oh, and I have the complete "Droids", but I watched it all in a day or two and forget Fett's appearance. I'll have to check it out again and let you know how much he's in it. (I think he may race against the White Witch, but I can't remember)

P.S. Which 'bounty hunter we ran into on Ord Mantell' would you be referring to? There have been several. Haha. ;)

(from starwars.com)
Behind the Scenes

If each tale of Han's exploits on Ord Mantell was taken at face value, then it's a wonder he keeps returning to the planet, so frequently do bounty hunters attack him.

Based on a single line of dialogue in The Empire Strikes Back, Ord Mantell was formally introduced to readers through the daily Star Wars newspaper strips by Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson.

In the story arc, the hunter named Skorr kidnaps Luke and Leia to lure Han into a trap. Solo gets the jump on Skorr and escapes, but several story arcs later, Skorr returns, backed up by such hunter heavyweights as Dengar, Bossk and Boba Fett for another run-in on Ord Mantell.

In a 1984 audio dramatization, author Brian Daley penned a tale of a Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell, wherein the Rebels needed to get badly needed funds out of a bank on the planet. There, Solo faces off against Cypher Bos, a Nalrithian bounty hunter.

In 1990, author Troy Denning told of another encounter in the solitaire game adventure book, Scoundrel's Luck. Though Solo and the bounty huntress Afreda Goot don't have a face-to-face confrontation on Ord Mantell, Goot does kidnap Leia from the planet, leading to a wild chase that eventually ends up on Tatooine.

Just scroll up to Adywan's last post, which is on this page. :p

Oh, and nice that you put it on YouTube, G.E. Predator, but blimey (and no offense, but) the quality is AWFUL! :p Ladyferry (a.k.a. shellatella) will no doubt upload one that can be downloaded in high quality, and with the right aspect ratio to boot.

I d love to keep the lasers that the TIES firing at MF at the asteroid chase( adds more color to the scene)

I was surprised at that too. Hope it makes it into the final cut, as I was really impressed with it.

Anyway, um...is it 2010 yet?! ;) That was great, Adywan! I literally said 'wow!' when I saw that shot of Cloud City. Stunning! Very nice trailer that doesn't give too much away.

Hope that ISP nonsense gets sorted. :p

10 year Anniversary for the Phantom Menace is today.

Matticon.

Thanks, Captain Bringdown...

Just kidding. ;) I don't care to see the theatrical--or any 'as-is'--version again, but I have enjoyed some of the fan edits. It's not a terrible movie, it just needs a lot of the fat skimmed off it.

I like Last Crusade, but there's a bit too much cutesy slapstick in it, and some of the supernatural stuff stretches believability to the brink. Raiders is a more serious drama/adventure, which I prefer.

I liked Temple of Doom when it first came out, but it hasn't aged well for me.

Have you watched InfoDroid's edits of Doom and Crusade? He did a good job of trimming the fat.

If you look closely, even to Ady's R, version when luke says the javas to get away, see the dino in the back. In one part it pop ups of the ground because of bad tracking ;)

Too bad you weren't around back then to let him know before he was finished. Haha. You just know that's the type of thing he'd get rid of.

(the CGI wasn't even up to the state of the art of the day and has dated terribly).

Yeah, and it's pretty sad considering who made it. :p I thought Jabba looked awful in 1997 and then again in 2004. Think they'll do him again?

Bad and/or obvious CGI makes me roll my eyes. One recent example was in The Day the Earth Stood Still. Did they really have to make a CG helicopter taking off? Surely that cost more than just, I dunno, renting a helicopter for the day? Oh well...

Hey Ady.  Wanted to let you know, we just did an interview with Kyle Newman, who directed Fanboys.  He told us that he has seen your ANH:R DVD, and he and Dave Filoni watched it, along with a some people at Lucasfilm.  And they are following your ESB:R.  Just something I thought you would like to know.

Here is that Kyle Newman interview. It's from Imperial Holonet Radio.

First of all, that is so cool to hear! Secondly, thanks for the link! :)
