I'm in the 'non-calling-them-minifigs' camp as well. I couldn't care less if the Lego corporation wants people to call them that. (some paranoid legal issue, apparently)

They're 1024x768.

Those are "bent", so can't be used for printing.  Anyone have the originals that can actually be printed and inserted into a cover?

Thank goodness for people like Harmy, dark_jedi and all the others who have preserved the originals so well. And once the BDs come out, I'm sure they'll take on that task yet again.

LFL could restore it and do a DVD/BD-on-demand sort of thing, just to shut us up. :p Other companies do it to get material out there without having to possibly lose money printing off too many of them. We'd have what we want and the average buy-anything-they-put-out fan could just keep buying whatever revised versions they release in stores.

I know it has been discussed before, but what do you guys think the status of the OOT would be after he...well, dies? Unless he states in a will (maybe he already has) that they are never to be released, it could happen.

I think, for instance, of the 2001 anime "Metropolis", which was made despite Tezuka stating that it was never to be made into a movie. After he died, they went against his wishes. (I'm happy they did, but it is a weird situation)  People could do that with regards to restoring the OOT unless it was made illegal for them to do so or something like that, yes/no?

I very seriously doubt they'd ever go back to Shaw. :(

I would also think that Lucas is far more involved than most directors, especially as he is so bent on killing the originals. If he left that all up to others in the company, we'd have what we want. (then he'd have us shot or something after we bought it)
