Man, those shots Laserschwert provided on the last page were amazing! The potential for these is somethin' else.

Just finished watching season one of Parker Lewis Can't Lose. Man, what a great show! :D I'm sure I would've loved it during the original run, but I didn't have Fox at the time and once other channels started airing it, I seem to remember only seeing it twice, and it was the same episode each time. (same thing happened with the 90's Superman cartoon)
Oh, and I can see how it wasn't just an inspiration for Scrubs (another favorite), it was a MASSIVE inspiration! Scrubs is pretty much PLCL set in a hospital!
ctrl+v:
the sound effects, the camera angles, the self-narration, daydreaming/over-the-top scenes, hanging out on the roof, etc...
:D
Bingo "Two Sheds" Wings
What is anime blue?
Well...all three will be redone once the BDs come out, rightÉ. (that is a question mark, but my keyboard gets messed up sometimes and I do not feel like rebooting right now) Unless they tamper with them too much, like this news about Jabba having digital expression or whatever.
Would be funnier if the pews and magazines were from the same ad.

I seriously doubt this. I just watched the Jabba scenes on Harmy's Despecialized and he is surprisingly expressive for a giant puppet, which is what makes him so great. Until we have a frame-by-frame analysis, I wouldn't believe this. Besides, this is someone who hasn't noticed the FREAKING BEAK in the Sarlacc in the last 14 years.timdiggerm said:
slight changes to Jabba who is now digitally expressive. This is new, but not surprising.
Yeah, that seems like a lot of effort, but also I wouldn't be surprised. They probably saw what Ady did with Greedo and other characters and did it themselves. We shall see...
If they could do that, it would probably just be an episode of the old Buck Rogers serial, only slightly different.
^But how do you really feel about it?
Heh heh. But seriously, you're right. They always seem to do the bare minimum and neglect things in their rush to get it on the shelves by the holiday season. When they do go above and beyond, it's just to add something to get it 1% closer to 'George's original vision.' (or to fix something we know is wrong and still make stuff up about why it happened) And we all know that'll never happen unless they invent some kinda machine that can hook up to his brain and record his thoughts.
I love Garfield Minus Garfield.
At least Bingo used bricks, Mr. Officechairwithsunglassesaboveit! ;)
Yeah, there are some people (thankfully not too many) vehemently opposing a project that LFL seems to be totally cool with. :p Whatever, dudes!

Can't wait for the Green-Ray set in 2017 with an all new digital Jedi Council set!
:-/
SPOILER ALERT, PLEASE! >:-(
From a funtrivia quiz I just did:
10. If you wanted to spoil a film about a novice warrior and his evil nemesis by saying "It's his dad." What movie would that be?
Your Answer: The Empire Strikes Back
Take away the bad guy's mysterious alias and he's got the same silly last name as the kid. To be fair this ending has been ruined by the filmmaker himself by making more films with the same characters.

My VHS treated the color space just fine.
Same here. They still do! And this is one of those things where even the average fan (the ones they like to dupe) that doesn't care about the technical side of things will say 'that doesn't make any sense!'

Imagine you have passed some responsability to your successor, like Matthew Wood is the successor of Ben Burtt. How much effort would you put in if you were Ben Burtt, invited to come in for a short amount of time and give your opinion? He didn't left the company without a reason, it was enough Star Wars for him, no real challenges at Lucasfilm. It's not his mix anymore, it's Matthew Wood mix.
I dunno, I'm still more concerned about Wood's input, but I'm also concerned about Burtt's, especially after all the sound issues I hated in AOTC, ROTS and Star Trek.
Oh, and not sound-related, but I watched the scene where Vader and Luke cross sabers in front of Palps and I still see a lot of pink in Vader's saber not only before, but during.

Like I keep saying, if the OUT was as available (and perhaps we should start including the PUT into the equation as an increasing number of PT fans start to get as miffed) as these new versions I wouldn't have a problem with a special edition every year.
Remember my "Blu, Not Blue!" slogan? How 'bout this new one...
"PUT it OUT, LFL!"
:p
^If it's from you, I'll pass. No offense. ;) If you're talking about a Hershey's kiss, I'll still pass. Not a fan of those. Heh.
I think he would look better with a nose, but that's an extreme rarity in Legoland. Makes me wonder why they never did add noses to them.
^^Hey, I'd be happy even with a written account!
Well, at first... ;)
Besides, I'm sure 005 will be wanting to do some sort of visual comparison at some point. Yes/no, 005?

Yes, I'm looking forward to the inevitable comparison threads that will come after it is released! :)
How's this?
He looks like a little longshoreman. :p
^^Yeah, I meant compared to the OT, which will be severely neglected no matter how much they do to "fix" them. The PT will always get 1000% more attention.
So, when AOTC and ROTS were filmed digitally in lesser quality than was available even then, did other productions make that mistake and limit themselves?
