Kinda nice to see this bumped. I can’t remember if I ever said, but my plan (which never happened) was to Backstroke all of Frink’s trilogy for him…but he never seemed to care (which really frustrated me, along with other aspects of his strange personality), so it became like more of a hobby which slowly fizzled out for me.

Anyway, I put a HUGE amount of work into making a gigantic glossary and putting things in proper order. In doing so, I got a lot of insight into the “logic” of the original Backstroking. There were so many times where things would come up and I’d think ‘oh yeah, I get where they were going with that…’ It helped me to finalize a lot. And now I can confidently Backstroke just about anything, not just Star Wars.

Aaaaaanyway, I’m looking in an old folder, and I’m not sure I posted these before; one scene from ESB, then two from ANH:

I don’t visit OT as much as I could/should, but anyway, just found this thread via the ROTJ:R thread and have enjoyed reading through it. Lots of fun, impressive stuff. I particularly enjoyed Ronster’s Tosche Station edit.

Haha, nice one. The only audio issue in the movie that bugs me is when Luke says “I, uh…also thinking about our agreement.” It’s like the word “was” is totally silent or missing.

The sample reel was a great treat! Love these random surprises. Favorite update shown is the new dish placement on the Falcon, I’d say. The jump cut fixes are amazing too!

Thanks, Ady! Lookin’ good! 😃 I know the audio is temporary and whatnot, but will the timing/animation be tweaked for the first time Jabba says “boska!”? (or whatever it is) Not sure why they had him say it twice, maybe as a way of showing his anger or frustration.

Looking through some older replies here tonight and it brings back a nice nostalgic feeling whenever I see Ady make one of his mega posts replying to 20 people in a row. 😃 (which has happened surprisingly few times in this thread, but still…)
