I would like to get a few seeders outside my normal uploaders - SO if you have broadband and can help seed a few DVD's.

If you can help with this PLEASE drop me an email (not a PM - I have those turned off) and I'll see about getting you a copy of the source discs - again you NEED to help seed. OH YEAH... And US members only (it's cheaper to send you discs!!)

how is the quality of your Superman IV : the Cannon International Cut ?

- Never heard of the "Cannon" cut just the Japanese LD version

is it a transfer of the japanese Laserdisc ? or a match between the dvd and the laserdisc (for the extented scenes) ?

- I was told the Japanese LD, do you mean a composite edit by "match" if so NO, I do not deal with composites I feel that unless the colors and aspect ratio are properly matched & near seemless you get a CRAP edit. I do think that the SIV that I have is a LD to DVD then converted to DVD again to remove the subtitles which dropped the quality.

I have a poor dvdr of this.

http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/4071/s42ha6.jpg

- AT LEAST that has the subs!!!! (I was outbid on all 4 Superman LD's this summer on eBay the version I have looks a bit better.

and you have a dvd cover for your dvd of Superman IV ? is there somewhere I can download it ?

- I do have covers for my transfers but they are specific to the DVD's, I have them in the DVD-Rom folders of the DVD's that I've sent out (about 20 copies of each DVD), I'll try to post them again in a few days (using a laptop now!)

and don't delete the Making of Superman III transfer I made. the official dvd has it but I assume it has the Making of with the voice over. Mine don't have any voice over if I remember correctly.

- Not planning on it as I've never seen the new official DVD's other then at the store, WAY out of my price range!! I would love to see the Donner cut but the rental copy was stolen at my local rental store and no one I know has them yet....

ahh.. secretive. totally understand.

The reason I ask is I'm a REAL fan of dark ales, but can't make them worth shit. I'm usually pretty good with fruity ales (for the wife) and ambers. I don't even bother with pale, except hefs.

I still try, though. I have a black fermenting as we speak. we'll see how this one goes.

- Well drop me an email and I think I can send you one of my Infernals around Solstice if you send me one of yours

WELL, So far I've been lucky enough to have gotten great reviews on this one from a few of our local brewmasters and local drunkards. And it has even been suggested that I enter this one in a few comps in the "Experimental" categories. So I'm kinda keeping this one under wraps

BUT, it's got 14lbs of fermentables with 6 types of malts, a random mix of spices & herbs and gave a reading of 1.072 and spent three weeks fermenting.

you can see the HD frame is not quite as wide, I also noticed the colours and sharpness of Rikter's sample are not as good as the dvd, but I'd still love to get a copy of this when it's done (and HP1 + 3 if and when HD extended versions are available)

I will be trying a new script that includes BT709ToBT601
