The official DVD version that is called the "Extended Edition" has never aired on television as it has the R rating (nudity & cusswords were restored for the EE DVD version), it also has an all new remastered 16 track to Dolby 2.0 audio track with minor new folly additions.

SO, that makes it very different from the HALLOWEEN: Extended Edition as the BLAX03 DVD preserves the original Mono to Stereo audio track and the television audio dubs.

Addressing the “Race Issue” portion of the thread…

I personally am sick of this whole African-American, Mexican-American and Asian-American PC bullshit…

IF you were born in the United States of America and no matter if you’re black, red, yellow, brown or white and even if you have African, Mexican or Polish ancestry or you may even be a naturalized citizen from another country but the honest truth is you are in NO way an African, Mexican, Asian or whatever…

YOU are an AMERICAN (for better or worse that is) regardless of your color or ethnic heritage.

I propose that we get into an intergalactic war with a very ugly non-human alien species that way we (collectively) can move beyond our petty racism and indulge in speciesism!

I think it was a mix of both NTSC and PAL sources and the original release was in both NTSC and PAL, my PAL set came on really cheap media and was riddled with CRC write errors and did not play, copy or extract

I do plan on getting ALL of the DVD's up now with this new rapidshare option, I've even recruited an all new uploader to help expidite the uploads since my upload speeds are so weak; I just cannot do it alone. I'll be posting a uploader request in my proper threads here and at FanEdit.org in the next week. I plan on getting at least 5 uploaders.

I wouldn't say slowly as I've uploaded over 80 DVD's so far on the torrents (not just at myspleen - they suck), my upload speed is about 366 kbps max so it takes 2-3 days to upload via Rapidupload and 3-5 days for torrents. I've also mailed out well over 2000 DVD's on these very forums for trading but most of the folks I've sent to seem to not share them at all (I've had about 20 BAD trades from this site) or the PIF chains die after other discs are released. You should really get into trading the discs as I'm sure you can get upwards of 10 discs from most traders. Trading here on this very forum is how I amassed my collection (a little over 1000 discs now

300 was an okay movie, the effects sucked (I do not like CG look at all) but I did like that they learn to kill as a necessity at such a young age, my boy is 7 and he can control and fire 22 cal. rifles & pistols so far, my 40 cal is a bit too much so I think I should teach him to knife fight soon since he can already wield a toy saber rather effectively!

It is already out there and in active PIF chains, it takes a while to get all my DVD's uploaded (I've uploaded about 120 DVD's to date) BUT with the HDTV2DVD why get the LD version? But on that note how is the HDTV2DVD version coming along??

I only tip my servers and barkeep and normally about 25% (I've done the work), I do not feel any other service deserves or earns tips as here in New Mexico those are the onloy jobs that are still paid the cash minimum wage at $2.12 / hour!!!

Everyone else makes between $5.15 - $7 / hour and still they put up TIP jars at Starbucks and other joints like that. LAME very LAME
