I tried about 5 scripts for the encoding (I did use the tools and advice that Moth3r gave me earlier in the year) and after testing on my set-top I found this one to be the best I could do without any help, I think it looks pretty good and I'm sure with more script work it could be improved but I'm okay with it as it is as it is a huge step above the standard TV cut

Was the ABC-edit of "Sorcerer's Stone" ever shown in HD? And is the "Azkaban"-edit announced to be shown in HDTV as well?

What annoyed me was that the ABC-edits were full-frame, so having these as widescreen-DVD (or even 720p) would be fantastic!


YES, HP1 was in HD but I've not been able to source the capture - I've heard from reliable sources there was a 720p newsgroup release but who knows, as for Azkaban I REALLY would love to get the TS if they do the HD also (no word yet that I've seen) - BUT if someone here gets the TS files I’ll hook them up with a full set of the extended HP DVD’s from my collection

- That apple brew sounds tasty! I uses a 4 gallon and sparge with a bit more then a gallon to top up the 5 gallons myself and cool in my iced sink. We may be moving soon so I may keep an eye out for better room so I can start to brew whole grain

EDIT - I'm also gonna get some Pacman before it's gone (2 or 3 of em')

NOT yet, I need to order that off the net but there are a few that I want to try so I think I'll order some good yeast soon. I just killed a Wyeast London Ale so I had to substitute Mutons Ale Yeast - I got distracted and poured it into the hot starter wort! DOH!!

I also just wrapped up and experimental spiced holiday brew with 12.6 pounds of fermentables , I think I’ll call it WINTER WHAT?.

I was going to start a new batch today (Winter What? - a darker spiced Nut Brown) but for the first time even my yeast did not start to multiple in the starter wort (the first time I had a slow start with Wyeast Propagator!!) so I'll buy some pitchable on monday.


The ISOLATION AMBER gets racked into the secondary fermentor tonight!

That is SO, SO NOT TRUE!!!!

I have mailed out over 300 copies of the ORIGINAL DVD versions as I have copies of the DVD masters, I have given them away in this very thread a few times and even more in the Edits thread, So in truth the DVD's have been out for a few years and yes it is also true that there are a few XVID conversion on DVD floating around but I have since sent the few that have said it was from an XVID proper copies of the DVD's.


A little history....

I WAS ASKED BY MAGFAN NOT TO UPLOAD THE DVD'S TO THE TORRENTS OR NEWSGROUPS...

(as they were even THEN not considered done and I was told that IMPROVED versions would come)

I WAS ASKED TO UPLOAD THE XVIDS AS TESTERS...

(they tested VERY well then I was given the OK to start to send out DVD's, the first wave was 50 sets (100 discs) that went out to MANY of this very forum and members of myspleen in the fall 04'. So, I just can figure out how the XVID to DVD version even surfaced BUT I do suspect that it was sourced from a FAN on myspleen then they started to send copies to others from there who THEN migrated here.

I STILL PLAN ON UPLOADING THE FINAL VERSIONS WHEN THEY COME OUT!!!

(If I'm allowed I will upload the final versions to multiple trackers and even plan a newsgroup release!!, I've been privilage to many behind the edits information and screener footage and think that HOLDING off on uploading the V.1 versions was a VERY WISE CHOICE as without Ep III some of the ideas could not be completed)

HOLD TIGHT GANG THE V2 VERSIONS WILL BE WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

It'll be ready when the 07' DVD's are out as it will compliment the proper box set - and YES I'm still doing the ISOLATED score and Alternate score but I will most likely use the 07' DVD as the video source instead of the HD TS files (I have that already done and it is SUPER STUNNING!!!!! - Thanks Moth3r!!!!) but I'll need to compare them first
