BLADE RUNNER: The Unauthorized OFF-WORLD Box Set (Released)
Time
Hey there gang - been busy working on my newest Datsun - I just got a 1978 B-210 2 door sedan for a couple hundred dollars (I sold some unnecessary Datsun parts & some of my Laserdiscs to get it!) so for the last week I've been busy getting it all back into one piece (I also got a full parts car!) so I've not been working on my BR project but I've just got as far as I can get on the B-210 for the week so now it's time to get back to work

So, thanks to Segaflip I now have the HD TS files on my hard drive, I’m gonna try a few different things to get it converted to MPEG2 (so I may not be using the DF007 V.1 transfer at this time – maybe the V.2 we’ll see ) I’ll start the video in the next 24 hours and I’m going to do my best to keep the new 5.1 audio track but the last attempt I lost sync with the AC3 stream so I may have to use a MPEG 2.0 mix (it tested better then the DD 2.0 down mix) in lieu of the 5.1 but with how things are looking at this time it may possibly have up to 6 audio tracks.

Definite Audio Tracks

1: Main Audio - MPEG 2.0
2: Isolated Score - PCM

Possible Audio Tracks

3: Isolated Scribble Score (an alternate musical score) - MPEG 2.0
4: Alternate Main Audio (DC audio with missing audio cues and effect sounds) - MPEG 2.0
5: Isolated "Future Scare" Track (fan created alternate soundtrack/synchronicity) - MPEG 2.0
6. "Wish You Were Blade Runner" Synchronicity Track – MPEG 2.0

Also thanks so much for all the support!!!

It obviously wasn't anything intentional (none of those "syncrosities" are), but if you start Wish You Were Here right as the Ladd Company logo appears (or rather a half a second before the tree begins to appear) and continue the album on loop through the whole movie (fading in the dialogue in certain scenes to keep it from being boring) it's actually quite a trip. On a coincidence scale I'd give it an astounding 10 out of 10 for some of the things that go on emotionally and lyrically while you watch it.

Anyway as long as we're talking about a big hulking box set of all things Blade Runner--I thought I'd bring it up.

- Send me the details and I'll see about doing this also

First, I really am even more impressed with your latest shots!!!

Sorry to knitpick here, but I did notice one thing...

In your menus the font you used is adding extra connecting "wings" on the words EXTRA and on DVD-ROM when you use the letters in caps - if you use the lower case e and d you'll lose the wings

- Again, I don't mean to be picky but that has alwas driven me crazy when I see the extra wings on stuff

I'm really confused.

This "isolated score" isn't isolated at all. It's still got sound effects in it if you're not using the Gongo edition.

What's the point?

I would like to do it, so I'll now call it a "Musical Score Track"

UPDATE (a few minutes later)

I will now start work on 2 alternate audio tracks...

1. An Isolated Score - (Deck Art, Esper and the Gongo)

2. A Musical track - (Esper, Gongo and the WB)

Due to the following quirk in the program (HDTV2DVD) used in making my original release, I'm going to go ahead with releasing my movie-only edition of Blade Runner which will, hopefully, fix any problem anyone might see with the initial release. Note: this is only happening because I'm anal and I saw the problem from the beginning...but it's barely noticeable.
i'll let you all know when I'm done.

- WOW, great little page there! I still think you did a GREAT JOB with the tools at hand (considering you used FREE tools and not multi thousand dollar tools!)

I and the WHOLE world look forward to your MOVIE only version!!

The Gongo is very nice and offers GREAT audio, The Esper MK2 is also wonderful as it has tracks that others do not, but sadly both the FLAC & MP3 files for both sets have a low background noise (source noise, slight low hum almost as if an audio cable was run next to power cords) - I've had a few friends over and pestered then into listening to three sample tracks I made, upon review we decided that the Esper MK1 sounds the most acceptable so far of the three.

So at this time about 80% of the score is from the Esper MK1, the audio is not as "bright" as the Gongo recordings but they lack the background noise (tried to filter it out but the result was less then bad) BUT now thanks to Klokwerks heads-up, I'll have the Esper MK2 CD's raw lossless WAV files - here I come baby!!!!!! - (man, I hope they lack the background noise - it's not me talking bad to or about ANYONE a lot of my CD's have some noise on them it's a thing that happens in recording sometimes)

On a secondary note, I'm now about 28 minutes into the films isolated score, and thanks to Klokwerks never-ending contributions I now have so many SUPER BAD ASS useful cues from the "Deck Definitive Edition" & "Los Angeles, November 2019 - Esper" albums.

This Musical Score Track is going to be so DAMN COOL!!!

LONG LIVE ESPER!!!
