what are the differences between it and the version available on the Halloween H DVD. I read that the backstory version is just a short version of the 90 minutes doc from the dvd.

More or less it is the same just that this is the broadcast edit so it's been cut to about 42 minutes

This is a fair warning to all, please do not read any further as the views, opinions and ideas presented in the following text are solely mine and do not necessarily represent those of any other living entity in the known or unknown universe[s].

Well at this time I have no plans for a DTS track as I’m sure it would be SUPER hard to sync that stream, at this time I don’t plan on using Dolby Digital as I’ve had no luck getting a good sounding DD 2.0 track from freeware and from a STRICTLY personal preference, I feel that the MPEG 2.0 audio tracks have a stronger presence (more lower end and the sound is closer to the wav files at least TO me that is) then the Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks that I’ve done (my brother has also tried with Sound Forge and it too sounded a bit tinny and lacked a strong lower end)

But if someone were to offer up to properly convert the WAV files into Dolby Digital 2.0 that sounded as good as or better then the currently planned MPEG 2.0 tracks then I would possibly use those (after evaluation by a few testers) as they are universally more compliant.

Yes, it does this is from the information I found while looking for the soundtracks with google...

Is there anyone willing to take on recreating the unreleased trailer by Robert Randles? I have the MP3 file with dialogue that would help with a few of the visual cues.

I think that it would be need to have a fan recreated version of this trailer since we (as fans) have the audio for the trailer (thanks to the "Deck Definitive Edition - DECK ART - 765" CD) – I would like to add this to the bonus DVD[s]

Allright, wait I just ripped and burned a copy of BR with the DTS version MarblesMike uploaded for me, and once I find out if its synced like the regular CD (I don't have DTS on my computer so I'm gonna have to blindly poke and burn and watch on a console until I get it right on) then could I just send it to you via mail and you could rip the DTS audio off the DVD and toss it onto your edit?

(btw I gave up on the dialogue/sync editing)

- I can see what I can do but no promises as I'm not sure if I can use the DTS stream yet....

So I wait for your enlightened response.

1 - I'm not a Blade Runner Expert (like yourself) nor have I EVER claimed to know anything about Blade Runner at all, but I dug the ORIGINAL movie as I saw it in the theaters (and I really dug your shrunk version of the HD broadcast of the D.C.) AND I'm certainly NOT a part or a member of the Esper Team, so I would have NO IDEA about any of the soundtracks or their sources (and I REALLY doubt you do either so UNLESS ESPER chimes in... its hearsay)

2 - I've NEVER heard of ANY of these CD's until I started this project so THEY are all new to me and I REALLY REALLY do not care about where they come from (notice I didn't ask for the source this time?!?) but if you REALLY care (like you seem to) go Google it or something.

3 - I have NO idea what I've done for you to be all over my ass on every forum I've posted on, First I try to work out some trades with you - you never get back at me about them, you’re always making some comment about any release I do or that you have a better version. (on and on and on much like a jealous child) Then you’re all over me because I simply asked for the source of the 1080i Blade Runner (which you went fucking nuts over and I was honestly just curious man) - so what's the deal man? I'm not the only one that has notice that you’re just a dick to some people. (and yes, I know that I'm an ass but I try to be cool to you and everyone else include all the people that email me asking to seed)

4. Please man, if you don't like my releases or my projects just don't deal with them, you know… OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND - I'm REALLY not doing them to please you.

5. I’m done with you and your needless, unwanted and unwarranted “blah, blah, blah”, so you win okay; YOU ARE THE WINNER of what ever it is you’re trying to achieve by all your witty comments and statements and I yield to your greatness. (Does this make you feel better now?) BUT please keep making your comments and remarks; my subscription to the Funny Times just lapsed

6. Are you enlightened yet?

Yet I must be honest, I will still trade for or download your DVD’s even though I do not like you as a person - I still do think you release some DAMN GREAT DVD’s!!!

NON-Star Wars Fan Edit and Alternate DVD Covers SHOWCASE

This isn't a cover for a fan project or anything like that. And I know that this isn't as good as some of the stuff that's been shown in this thread so far, but I'm actually looking for ideas on how to improve it. I don't like the back, but I'm stumped as to what else I might be able to do with this.

I hate the fact that I have 28 different Godzilla DVD's (29 if you count that horrendus '98 U.S. version - which I don't) and they don't have a uniform look to them. I wanted to make something that would really present itself nicely on the shelf. When all 28 DVD cases are lined up, the spines form a larger version of the Godzilla logo like the one pictured on the front and back of the case.

http://www.jedidefender.com/dcastle/01godzilla1954.jpg

The front uses the original Japanese poster artwork for the movie in question. The biggest problem I currently have is that the only artwork I have access to has all come from the internet and it's not that great quality - but I'm trying to make do with what I can get my hands on.

Any suggestions for the back (or anything else) are greatly appreciated.

SWEEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Uhh, yes there are. It would seem that you do not have the 5 Esper CD's which have a few alternate takes and extended cuts and the "Sunetul Original Al Filmului Muzica De Vangelis" is missinge a few of these as well as some orther minor cues which the Esper sets have such as track 13 - Blade Runner Blues (Extended Version) or stuff like track 10. Seventh Sector - Apartment 9726 (Reprise) - AND THESE are the ALTERNATE tracks that I'm using in MY ALTERNATE SOUNDTRACK SCORE.

OKAY, let me state this ONE LAST TIME so those that do not SEEM TO UNDERSTAND will understand...

I'M ALSO MAKING AN ALTERNATE SOUNDTRACK SCORE (that means NOT like the one in the movie) AND I'M WORKING ON AN ISOLATED SCORE FOR THE MOVIE (using the score from MANY CD's and sources!!!) - Again this is my project and that's how I'm doing.

DAMN there are so many soundtracks and so many alternate takes that doing the score is driving me crazy!!! (that's why I'm doing so many audio tracks) - I'm gonna runn a few versions by a few folks here to get there take on them and I'm also willing to take suggestions on what tracks to place (and where) so if you have any ideas please drop me a message

I'm going to take a few days off from the BR set and get Zootie running about 90% again this weekend and I also might try to get the B210 running as well AND I promise I'll answer a bunch of emails this weekend also!!
