I've noticed that threads I haven't viewed before don't finish loading most of the time when I click "first unread post" instead of the thread title (this has always been a problem, however). Posts that contain GIFs also load really slowly, but I suspect that's just a problem with my internet connection.

Now that I think about it, things do seem to be loading slowly than normal. I think I just assumed it was a problem on my end, since I frequently have sixty or more tabs open at once (not all loaded) and the browser slows down after too many tabs are loaded. They were just as slow to load when I first opened my browser, though.

^What kind of religious sites does that include? I don't think I've ever gotten a virus from any and I visit them fairly frequently. I assume things like the official Vatican site would be safe, and I'm unsure why a church webpage would be any more hazardous than any other page.

Now I know what the magic underwear thing is really about. It's something I can easily relate to, since I wear a scapular myself, and have worn an alb over my clothes literally hundreds of times when altar serving.

 I'm fifteen as of March. I found it a bit weird for a couple weeks after he was born, since I hadn't had a new sibling for five and a half years, but now it doesn't feel strange at all. My best friend has five siblings and there's a gap of more than twenty years between the oldest and youngest, so it doesn't seem too weird to me to be fifteen years older than the youngest in our family.

I assume you're clearing the way between your rook and the Pleasure Garden, not moving another pawn. Also, do we want to exchange bishops again?

Is there some kind of filter you can use to make the voices sound farther away? Maybe just make them quiet, so that they're obviously background voices?

My nine month-old brother stood without support for about fifteen seconds. :) He wasn't sure what the big deal was, since he's always standing up at the coffee table or a chair or a pant leg. At this rate he'll be walking at ten months.

On the contrary, I wouldn't be interested at all, and probably not even aware of this, if it wasn't Star Wars. I'm only cautiously optimistic, rather than excited, because I want to be pleasantly surprised. I think it will be far better than the prequels, but I'm trying to suppress any excitement so that I won't be disappointed if it isn't as good as I'm hoping.

Then again, that's just me. I don't get excited about much...

I'm hoping to see Episode VII on day one for the sole reason that when the thread I created explodes with people's opinions about it, I want to be involved in the discussion, or at least able to read it.

I wonder if the creator of Nimmar was inspired in part by Kokusai Sannin Shogi. In both, a person wins either by checkmating all the other players or by getting their "king" to the centre square. Also in both, the pieces aren't named the way most shogi or chess pieces are named, but are instead called after political concepts and non-war-related things, like "temple" in Nimmar and "Colonist" or "Propaganda" in Kokusai Sannin. (EDIT: I haven't played many chess-type games with more than two players, however, so for all I know, the former is just a common characteristic of this type of game.)

Also, I found this in the Wikipedia article:

If two players start the game as allies, the remaining player is automatically First.

I find that I keep wanting to pronounce words with Frenchy spellings the French way too, now that I'm living in Québec. Because I've only been here a short while, I'm trying to build my vocabulary by reciting a list of words and their translations every night. Sometimes I find that I'm pronouncing all the English words as if they were French and have to start over. :P
