EDIT: Ah, I see that your move was indeed safe for your king. Silly me.

So far, I've listened to them all at least twice. "Alteration" is my favourite right now.
LOL, I forgot about that. Regardless, your king can't cozy up with darth_ender's rook, so you need to go elsewhere....
Suicide is discouraged in shogi. If your king is feeling depressed, perhaps you could negotiate with ender to remove his rook from the Pleasure Garden so your king can take a brief vacation thereabouts.
Remember, you're under check from both of us, from two different directions, so you can't uncheck yourself with a pawn drop, unless you want the morrow to bring a hungry, cannibalistic, silver general over for breakfast.
First of all, how did they not notice the head when they were preparing the chicken?
<rant>
Secondly, why are there so many retards out there who sue for being grossed out? It isn't the company's fault that there was a chicken's head in the chicken. The world would be a nicer place if people could just let things go sometimes. Especially when the manager tried to make up for it. Being grossed out should absolutely not be an acceptable reason to press charges, never mind for $100,000!

"Accidents Never Happen" by Blondie
"Whispering Bells" by Del Viking
"Yesterday Once More" by the Carpenters
I've got to be the only person my age who willingly listens to the Carpenters (and enjoys some of their music, at that)....

Of course. It all depends on how the values of 2 and 5 are defined, and what the symbols of "+" and "=" represent.
OK sure, but nothing changes the fact that the sun does not go around the moon. In fact, the moon doesn't even revolve around the sun, it revolves around the earth. I guess technically the moon goes around the sun since it follows the earth. Anyway though, nothing anyone thinks or says changes the fact that the sun does not go around the moon. No point of view alters that fact.
That was some more of my sarcasm. I don't really agree with imperialscum's opinion that opinions can't be wrong. :P

I keep reading this thread title in a modern London/West-Indian accent, as in "This New Trilogy is gonna be ahll blaze and sh*t, ya know blud. Truth", that sort of thing. Just thought I'd mention it. It makes me laugh everytime I open the "General Thoughts" forum right now.
Where might the "General Thoughts" forum be found?
Derp...I guess I forgot there was a good reason I was originally going to make this move: S-14uv
Also:
double check!
I didn't say I was the Ric, silly.

L-14wx
double check!
I'm Ric.
Ohhh... I didn't realize your king had actually made the effort to waddle all the way over to my side.
By imperialscum's logic, it's perfectly valid to think that the world does revolve around me after all! :)
I'm afraid I'm missing something.... Which piece has me under check?
Still awaiting the first frost. I wish Alberta was like this.
I'm tentatively assuming that you meant "check" by the plus sign, but in case you didn't, remember that only my dad can promote his pieces. If you wish, you can retract your move if promotion was your intention.
Otherwise, N-12op
So it's something I should have figured out...
Now it's driving me crazy that I still can't figure it out. :P
^Is there a reference I'm missing there?
I've noticed that threads I haven't viewed before don't finish loading most of the time when I click "first unread post" instead of the thread title (this has always been a problem, however). Posts that contain GIFs also load really slowly, but I suspect that's just a problem with my internet connection.
Now that I think about it, things do seem to be loading slowly than normal. I think I just assumed it was a problem on my end, since I frequently have sixty or more tabs open at once (not all loaded) and the browser slows down after too many tabs are loaded. They were just as slow to load when I first opened my browser, though.

I didn't expect you to use your rook, but now that you have, it leaves open the easy trade of rooks as well, if you are interested. We have to be careful so as not to give your dad a big advantage while our pieces remain in hand, but it could be a worthwhile venture.
Sure, we can trade rooks. However, I'd like you to take mine in two moves, rather than right after I move my pawn out of the way, so that I can take yours with my knight.
If you want to know the truth, I still expect to lose, but I look forward to the merry chase.
And what if I didn't want to know the truth!? ;)
The actual photo, yes. If Luke's going to be a hermit, I think Mark looks good for the part.
^What kind of religious sites does that include? I don't think I've ever gotten a virus from any and I visit them fairly frequently. I assume things like the official Vatican site would be safe, and I'm unsure why a church webpage would be any more hazardous than any other page.
