Glad to hear it, ender. :)
Glad to hear it, ender. :)
Sooo...does that mean 8f, then? I don't have anything on 9g (or 8g, for that matter). :P
EDIT: Going with 8f, my move would be G-7h.
No, I think it's too late to take moves back. My mistake was made about four moves ago.
It seems you have skipped over a couple moves, because you can't get to 8h from 9f. ;)
Carp, I forgot that you would promote. For some reason I thought that would only happen if you moved while remaining in the promotion zone.
G-8h
Now I finally don't have to worry about that drop. I forgot that you could so easily threaten my bishop with the next move, though. I should have moved my other gold general forward.

Taking out the things that make Star Wars what it is, is self-defeating, and does not really serve any purpose.

I agree to some extent, but this is a spin-off film. Were it part of the main saga, I wouldn't want it to be without Jedi, nor would I want a film as dark as they seem to be planning. But this is its own thing, and I would love to see a greater variety of genres, set in the same universe, but with different stories to tell, in different ways. We can have all sorts of genres set on earth: dramas, westerns, comedies, action, etc., all realistic in their portrayal of life on earth. I want to see the same variety in the Star Wars universe, as long as the main saga sticks with the genre of the OT, and doesn't decide to be different like the prequels were.

That's true...most moons wouldn't be orbiting in the same place a space station would.
You can see a bit more in this one:

I wonder if they'll continue the movies beyond the three they planned if they're successful? I'd love to see that happen, assuming they're good.

I couldn't tell from the video--is the Death Star actually in the sky of that planet? Because if so, it looks way, way too big.
Wow, I'd forgotten all about the standalone films. They'll help bridge the gaps between episodes.
They used a different one in the PT?

I don't even either.

How about now?
That's better.

Nice to see there are grumpy cats in this thread too. I thought it was pretty great. Even the bit where Chewie was killed by Lando.
You might want to edit that for the benefit of other people, Frink.
You may as well have told them who killed Han!
^Some of your pictures aren't working.
Maybe, but it seems a bit small. Of course, it could well be a class of SD we haven't seen before.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the PT era star destroyer so far (the one the Falcon flies into).
I didn't know it was PT-era...but I'm not very observant.
With people picking apart the colour-coding, Chewie's eyes, etc., I thought someone would have complained.
The engines set farther back than the main ones and the tail-thing sticking out the back is what gives it away.

Well, I think you're right. It would have been better if this had happened a couple moves later, but I'll see how it goes. My chances really depend on what you do with the move after your next one (unless you do something unexpected right away).
