Well, I suggest you keep it if you like it since you can't go get another one if you want to play it again. Only five hundred physical copies were ever made, so if you do decide to get rid of it, then put it up on eBay or something. I know there are some members of BoardGeek.org who want it, so depending on your geographical location, you might be able to send it to them. But whatever you decide to do, don't throw it in the garbage. ;)

I must confess to playing strategically far less frequently than I should. I think I would do better if I planned ahead more, but I generally only have a rough idea of what future moves I want to make.

If the U.S. got involved, it would probably happen the way it did in the other WWs. It only entered the war after all the European nations were in it. But I doubt it will go as far as another World War.

My family was just discussing this over dinner. Apparently some think that this might spark off World War III, especially if the U.S. gets involved. I think there's a low risk of that, but it's possible (based on what I know).

If you think it's that bad, I suggest you just go back a few turns to when you would have been able to pull ahead a bit more easily and play from there. You might be able to do something from turn 13.

Hmmm...

Anakin was a skilled pilot when Obi-Wan met him, so maybe something could happen that would require Obi-Wan to go somewhere and need a pilot, resulting in Anakin getting caught up in something, leading Obi-Wan to begin training Anakin somehow... I don't know. Maybe you could go somewhere with that, but you'll have to think of something that would force Obi-Wan to go off somewhere and that he would need a skilled pilot for.

Good luck, I'll share any thoughts I have as they come but right now that was the best I could come up with. :)

This morning it was still sunny, but actually cold (not a piddly -20°). The weather station said it was -31°C but felt like -41°C (which is about the same in Fahrenheit).

That's pretty cool, they're on minute 35 of Empire, the one where I always think that Vader walks through an airport metal detector when he enters the base. Someone needs to add the metal detector sounds at that point.

No, you're not walking into a trap. I'm trying to lure you in a bit since I'm in a bad position to attack. I've also managed to get my pieces stuck, so I'm trying to get them unstuck so that I can take the offense. I am taking a bit of a gambit to get myself in a better position, so hopefully you don't do something unexpected. :P
