Hopefully that will get the action going again without it going badly for me. :)
About the flying generals: I think they may work as just a promoted value. Some time when I'm less tired I'll try working out a balanced piece of that sort. I don't want to get rid of the RC though...
Come on ender, I know you're online... ;)

How many times do you have to say it! ;)

I originally got the information second hand, but now that I've read an article about it, it looks far less likely that she actually saw it.
There was a lady who filed a report to the police about a crashed plane she had seen below a flight she was on, but it was dismissed. She was the only witness, but it was around the right place and on the same day it disappeared (but the police obviously hadn't heard any news about this at the time she filed the report). I wonder if they could have saved some of those people if they had listened to her (or if she made that up, because one would think that the police officers would remember the report when they heard the news).
Gee whiz, I can't believe I didn't catch that, especially since I don't copy and paste. :P The site I'm using as a reference gets a lot of things wrong unfortunately and sometimes I miss those errors.
SC-17
It's a pretty useless move, but I really don't know what to do right now.
March 24:
A.D. 1603: Mary Queen of Scots son, King James VI of Scotland, succeeds Queen Elizabeth I of England, becoming James I of England and uniting the Scottish and English crowns.

A.D. 1832: Joseph Smith is beaten, feathered, and tarred in Ohio.
A.D. 1837: Blacks are given the right to vote in Canada.

You need to get a sense of humour (one that recognizes a greater variety of humour) and stop being bugged by Frink so much. :P
I was wondering if it was a quote from somewhere. My curiosity is satisfied. :)
March 23:
A.D. 1743: Handel's Messiah premieres in London.
A.D. 1752: Stephan II is elected pope, but dies two days later.
A.D. 1775: Patrick Henry makes his famous statement, "Give me liberty or give me death."
A.D. 1808: Napolean's brother Joseph takes the throne of Spain.

I'm spending way too much time trying to figure out what Duracell means by his signature and why there are so many "Domines". And why does he need help? I'm confused. :P
(I don't really care that much, but I am curious to know why he has it as his signature....)
I know, I know, but I like to know stuff. :\
March 22:
A.D. 1457: The Gutenberg Bible becomes the first printed book.
For some reason I thought I covered that already...maybe it was Gutenberg's invention of the printing press.
A.D. 1622: The first massacre of Europeans in America by the Powhattan tribe. 347 colonists are killed in Jamestown, Virginia.
A.D. 1765: The Stamp Act is passed and the first direct tax by the British government on American colonists is imposed.
I wasn't bluffing when I said my HH was covered, you know. ;) Honestly, feel free to take it back if you think it will badly affect your game. You've given me a lot of second chances, so it's only fair that I give you one once in a while, when you make silly mistakes.
But if you refuse my offer:

I won't take my move back because I was aware of that danger. It was a risk I was willing to take, and I agree that it wasn't the greatest move I could have made. However, you can't do me any damage with your bishop without losing it and your SC is a safe distance away, so I think I'll be OK.

I had a fairly busy week too, so I hardly noticed your lack of posts. I had to work all day Tuesday as well as today, and I'll have to work tomorrow afternoon too. And there were two birthdays in my family, plus as all the stuff I normally do. I'm glad we're both busy at about the same time though. :)
It's ten degrees below now and was above zero for the past week or so. Most of the snow has melted and the biggest snowfall we've gotten in weeks happened yesterday (and it was only about an inch). I imagine we'll probably get a bit more snow, but at least winter is finally over.
March 21:
A.D. 1413: Henry V becomes King of England.
A.D. 1697: Czar Peter the Great begins his tour of Western Europe.
A.D. 1918: The Battle of the Somme begins with a German offense.
