I won't take my move back because I was aware of that danger. It was a risk I was willing to take, and I agree that it wasn't the greatest move I could have made. However, you can't do me any damage with your bishop without losing it and your SC is a safe distance away, so I think I'll be OK.

I had a fairly busy week too, so I hardly noticed your lack of posts. I had to work all day Tuesday as well as today, and I'll have to work tomorrow afternoon too. And there were two birthdays in my family, plus as all the stuff I normally do. I'm glad we're both busy at about the same time though. :)
It's ten degrees below now and was above zero for the past week or so. Most of the snow has melted and the biggest snowfall we've gotten in weeks happened yesterday (and it was only about an inch). I imagine we'll probably get a bit more snow, but at least winter is finally over.
March 21:
A.D. 1413: Henry V becomes King of England.
A.D. 1697: Czar Peter the Great begins his tour of Western Europe.
A.D. 1918: The Battle of the Somme begins with a German offense.
No, no, I am an Air Cadet. :D I think it's different in the States (they put you in reserves when you turn 17 or something like that). In Canada we have Sea, Army, and Air Cadets which is for kids between the ages of 12 and 18, so it isn't training for the military, though you are encouraged to join after you leave Cadets. It's all covered by tax funding, so individual cadets don't have to pay anything. In Air Cadets, I could get my pilot's license if I wanted to and there are also Cadet music, sports, public speaking, aviation, survival, and leadership courses, all of which are free. It's very time consuming, but can be very rewarding as well.

I looked over the board and saw what you meant. Hopefully I'll be able to make a move tonight after I get back from Air Cadets, but if not, I'll see your move tomorrow.
I agree, imperialscum. Some things look better with CGI than practical effects. I have no problem with CGI in a movie, as long as it works well with everything else and doesn't look really fake.

Star Trek: Into Darkness
I really enjoyed this one. It had a fairly good story, with character development and emotion as well as action and visual effects. I like how they used a lot of practical effects and physical sets as opposed to greenscreen. I also liked the parallels between this and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Overall, very good film and better than the first one.
I should also mention that the infamous lens flares of the first movie made far fewer appearances in this one.
No, ender was correct. Birthdays mark the completion of years. I turned fifteen, which means I have lived for fifteen complete years. My first birthday was at the end of my first year, and so on.

But maybe there was another small jedi purge caused by one sith who has learned from an ancient holocron and this time it is not like what we saw in Episode III and I can possibly see a resurrected empire so if the darkness theme is not pointed directly at the jedi it should be about the rise of an even worse empire.
That sounds really dumb and clichéd, no offense. That's what the EU has done way too many times already and exactly what shouldn't happen in the movie.
March 20:
A.D. 1890: Otto von Bismarck is fired by Emperor Wilhelm II.
A.D. 1933: The first Nazi concentration camp, Dachau, is completed.
A.D. 1934: Radar is demonstrated in Germany, by Rudolph Kuhnold.
A.D. 1944: Mt. Vesuvius explodes.

There were only fifteen, so it wasn't really that hard. ;)
I think you make some good points. Limiting those powerful pieces like that might allow the weaker pieces more action and prevent the powerful pieces from taking over right away. It also evens out the number of pieces on each colour of the squares, excluding the king.
I shall make the appropriate changes on my board, and my move remains the same.
Warb, don't leave. Maybe stay away for a few days so you can take a break from Bingo, but there are always people you can't get along with, no matter where you go. You just have to deal with them and ignore them if need be. Just don't reply to him and you should be fine. Don't take what he says personally. Bingowings will always be Bingowings and you can't change that.

Instead of calling Chewie a walking carpet, Leia could express her love for him? (Inspired by the following:)

Leia and Chewie would make the best parents.
Yes it did and I managed to blow them all out in one go (so no girlfriends yet ;)).
Homemade lemon cake with cherry filling. My mother can sure cook/bake.
That sounds good to me. I wouldn't mind playing a few games at once. After this one we should play a game of regular Shogi and maybe self-eliminator chess.

Let me see 5.5 years ...hmm....tough one that 365 x ....eh...oh yeah!..no it's gone.
Must be more than human then...which doesn't sound too difficult.
if you are making a point here, it is lost on me.
Translation (of what Bingowings said): No, I didn't say anything that merited an apology from me in all the 5.5 years of my membership on this site, so I must be more than human, which isn't really all that difficult, since most humans are so below me.
No, that would be TV's Frink.
Warbler, take it easy. Bingowings, stop acting like you're superior to everyone who participates in these forums.
