Blade Runner: The Version You've Never Seen Before (Update: Beta Released)

Actually, Warners released perhaps the world's only home video of a workprint cut, barring Alien 3's Assembly Cut., but that was spruced up and altered.

I think that the SE DVD of Disney's Beauty and the Beast has an animatic workprint version of the flick, and I know that the SE Heavy Metal DVD has a workprint version on there as well. I can't think of any live-action movies that have had workprint releases aside from BR, though.

Help Wanted: A pitch-corrected Star Wars for PAL?

They didn't, that's the standard framerate for motion picture film.

Okay, well, to be totally accurate, 23.976 is the rate at which film is played back to be transferred to NTSC video, which runs 29.976fps. The reason for that is simply that it's easier to generate 6 "new" frames per second than it is to generate 5.976 "new" frames per second. Film is generally natively shot and screened at 24fps.

Help: looking for... alternate Halloween series cuts...
Time
I have four different cuts of Halloween 6 and I have absolutely no idea what the difference between them all is:

Producer's Cut (anamorphic widescreen)
Rough Cut (anamorphic widescreen)
Director's Cut (anamorphic widescreen)
TV Cut (fullframe)

And also a fifth disc of random promotional material and behind-the-scenes stuff. I've accumulated way too many DVDs.

I just finished watching the deleted/alternate scenes, and I can't wait to see this edit put together. I have two pie-in-the-sky sort of requests, which I entirely expect you to ignore, because this is your edit and you're taking the time to make it, it's just a couple things that I would do if I had the time/energy/skill to do the same:

1) Include some of the second alternate ending dialogue, particularly the line "You and I were made for each other." I could accept the "happy" ending as a real ending if that were the final line of the film.

2) Maybe try doing just an alternate sound mix for the edit without the narration? A lot of the stuff (I think taken from the first voiceover sessions?) is downright insulting to the viewer in how much it explains.

Blade Runner: The Version You've Never Seen Before (Update: Beta Released)

I'm really looking forward to seeing this. I just finished watching Dangerous Days, and damn, was that great. I'm re-watching the 1982 theatrical cut for the first time in a while before I watch the deleted/alternate scenes. Can't wait to dive into that stuff.

It sounds like this edit of the flick will be a lot of fun to watch, almost like the lost cut of Star Wars.

Help Wanted: Holiday Special Resources and Dreams

The crawl was fan-made. None of the comments they made during the crawl were really funny or necessary, so I have the DVD I authored of it set to skip to right after the crawl after pressing "Play".

There is a guy on the RiffTrax board that's editing together a disc that will use the KCCI footage for the special, the WMAR footage for the commercials, with the stupid opening crawl, that will sync up to the RiffTrax. I'm eagerly awaiting that disc.

You would also want to include the Star Wars Holiday Special RiffTrax Commentary for the WMAR version that has commercials.

No, you wouldn't, seeing as how the RiffTrax is a product that is currently a product available for (very cheap and reasonable) purchase and should not be distributed unless the person on the other end of the deal purchased the track.
