Fanboy's Official TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES Fan Cut Thread (unfinished project)

You needn't decrypt the entirety of the second disc for that scene, if you do want to include it. If you're running Windows, download DVDShrink and simply take that part out. For Macs, I'm not so sure, but there are definitely people around here who can help you. Most certainly, though, you do not need to decrypt the whole disc.

The DVD-18 thing actually didn't occur to me until after I posted that message last night and makes some sense. The upcoming 10th anniversary DVD of Mallrats (also Universal) is a single, two-sided DVD.

So I guess we should just try to get this done as quickly as possible. Right now, this is up to Karyudo and MeBeJedi. Kary, any updates?

Since I'm paying MeBeJedi for the transfer out of my own pocket, the whole thing is going to be transferred. The reason I'd prefer to do this is because I simply don't trust the studio at this stage to deliver a quality transfer of a flick they've had sitting on the shelf for so long. Take, for example, the most recent DVD release of Stargate, with the extra 9mins of footage. You can EASILY see where it goes from theatrical to the extra footage, there's noticable grain, dust and even a couple scratches. But is any of that present on my old VHS of the same extended cut? Not at all.

Everything will go ahead as planned, I just hope we can get the money back on eBay now that this DVD is coming out.
