Star Wait - documentary

Well, I guess I'm going to just have to disagree with you. Like I said, I enjoyed it immensely and came out of it feeling like those featured were buddies of mine.

However, I will say that a big factor of why I like it is because I travel a lot for concerts and, because I'm travelling, I want to get the best possible place inside I can. Therefore, I usually line up 8-10hrs before the doors open. I've met a lot of friends that I still keep in contact with this way, so the mentality is something close to home for me.

Star Wait - documentary

I saw this discussed in a couple other threads, but not in one of its own.

Go out to Target and buy this, it really makes fans like us feel much less alone. It’s a wonderful dorkumentary about people who lined up for six weeks to see AOTC. It’s funny and a damn good time to watch. Cheap, to boot, and with some excellent commentaries.

Has anyone else here seen it?

Info & Idea: Original Trilogy DVD footage...

No it doesn't, unless there are somehow different copies of Story of Star Wars circulating. On mine it has Hayden grinning like a madman.

Then there must be different copies, because at the end of the Skywalker section, it's most definitely Sebastian Shaw on my copy. Same goes for many others on this board who have spoken up about the disc's contents.

You didn't fix the spine, though. Look this crazyness:

What you need to do is get rid of that and re-do the text as a seperate layer on top of flat black. If you can't see what's wrong in those caps, there is something seriously wrong with your monitor.

And this picture is obviously terribly stretched with some nutty black levels going on. It looks like you did a paint bucket thing with black, making dark areas disproportionately darker. And there's obvious use of some kind of a pencil or brush tool in the top right of the image.

That's what's still wrong with the cover.

Wait, it's the film version and not the soundtrack version? Dear crap, if it is, please rip it somehow.

See if there's a way to turn the sound effects and dialogue all the way down and turn the music all the way up. A lot of games have options like that.

New forum software status - updated 1/4/2006
Time
Hey Jay, a question about something for the new forum software:

In this current incarnation, a user sees what has been updated indicated by the blueness of the folder icon next to it, but this changes by what machine you're using to check the forum, rather than the username, which is how most message boards I use operate, and the way I much prefer. If I'm out of town or something and want to use someone else's computer to check the forum, I have to figure out what's been updated and not. Then, when I get back to my own machine, I have to figure out what I've already read, etc. Will the new software count the updates according to the logged in user, or the way it currently does?

(If any of that didn't make sense, just ask and I'll try to clarify.)
