Did you all ever figure out how that timecoded version of the raw capture got out there? You might have posted about that and I missed it, but I was reminded of it tonight and am curious.

My copies of ANH and ESB are like that. ROTJ probably will be too.
I find it very weird that you had the same sticky situation with Empire, Gaffer. I didn't have it with Star Wars, so I figured I wouldn't have it here. Wonder if I'll get it with Jedi.

I could (or should) have stolen Empire when I bought it today. I went to Meijer and did the self-checkout thing, but forgot to swipe it to de-magnatize the security thing inside it, so I beeped when I went through the doors. The lady asked me if I bought any electronic thing, and I said a DVD, and she told me to just go. I could have just stuck the DVD in my bag, bought $3 worth of food and said the same thing.

*When taking off the security seals, I have to pick so hard that I stretch the plastic cover.
*These same annoying things leave behind a sticky residue that then gets stuck to DVDs next to it on my shelf.
*When the paper cover insert is set in a little too high or too low and taking off the seals rips it.
But most of all... I REALLY FUCKING HATE when the plastic wrap around the DVD sticks to the fucking spine and there's no way in hell that you can get it all off and you're left with a DVD spine with blotchy plastic all over it.

Wer-Al, thank you for the offer, but it looks like baby hum's got it covered. You could still record it as a backup, if you felt so inclined. It couldn't hurt, yeah?
Thanks, everyone!
