One note that I'll make is that it's not actually presented in 1.85:1, this would be 1.77:1 or 1.78:1. Real minor nitpick. With 1.85:1, there's very minor black bars at the top and top and bottom of the image, and there aren't with 1.77:1.

Still wouldn't matter, the aspect ratio on all of them is not Gilliam's preferred, according to the laserdisc sleeve. The laserdisc is 1.75:1. The American and Superbit releases are 1.85:1. There's an Australian release that 's 1.78:1 that might be passable, but then a PAL-to-NTSC conversion would also have to be dealt with.

Well, I'm glad it includes the VH1 special, as my recording is incomplete.

I'll probably be able to get to this sometime in the new year, it'll probably be done sometime in February. I've just gotta find the time/mental energy to take it on. Lotsa file conversion involved.

I intend to get to them eventually. I've got them all saved, along with the stuff that was put up exclusively at IGN and YouTube, and the Inaction shorts, and a bunch of pre-release TV press stuff. I plan on making a big Clerks II supplementary package, I just don't have the time/hard drive space at the moment.

When the movie comes out, I believe it is Best Buy that will carry a bonus disc featuring many more Train Wrecks. Either them or Circuit City.

You could also tackle a preservation yourself, all of the featurettes are still on the website.

It looked like it was shot partially in slo-mo, but then also slowed down in editing as well, which is why it's not true slow motion. The effect is also enhanced by the very dry and sparse sound mix during that sequence.

What did those people do? They never contributed to the actual thriving elements of this site, which are the preservations and fanedits. They all just hung around the Off Topic section, again, just shooting the shit. Inconsequential to what the board is actually about.

The Phantom Menace VHS is the theatrical cut, I don't think there was ever a VHS for AOTC and I know there wasn't one for ROTS.

I edited a bunch of deleted scenes back onto Star Wars and also took the original edits of certain scenes from Deleted Magic to re-create the "lost cut" to a certain extent. I held off on releasing it because Sluggo was working on this, and I was going to put it at the front. If anyone renders this as an actual video crawl, I'll put it into my edit and I can send it to folks.
