man, you too? I think, there's like, 4 or 5 of us, AFAIK, on the whole board. :)
My real name is Vincenzo, my dad was born in Gela and grew up in Palermo, so technically I'm Sicilian. Ciao!
wrong thread :(

My girlfriend and I saw Enrico Colantoni at the Philadelphia airport a couple years ago (he played the dad in Veronica Mars, and one of the aliens in Galaxy Quest). We didn't say anything, since it would have been awkwardly weird to do so, particularly as it would have involved interrupting a lengthy conversation he was having with a friend, but we couldn't help staring a bit.
I like to think that meeting someone of whom I'm a big fan would result in me remaining calm and collected and making some sort of intelligent remark, but more likely I'd just not say very much, with some possibility of coming out with inane babble. I've never actually gone to any sort of convention for these things, but I have on occasion wondered what it would be like to meet Summer Glau and what I'd want to say if that happened. ;) Given that she always has the exact same facial expression in every photo with fans, it's hard to tell what she really thinks of them; if her appearance on The Big Bang Theory is anything like real life, she seems to have a surprising amount of patience. lol
When I was 17 I got to meet Kyle Gass (of Tenacious D) at a concert of his in Detroit. It was for another band of his called Trainwreck, and I got to go backstage afterwards and talk to the band for a bit. I would've expected the same reaction out of myself, but I was actually pretty calm and collected, and we had a cool conversation. However, if I ever met Summer Glau, I still think all I'd be able to do is drool.
btw, I am a huge Veronica Mars fan, so that's awesome you got to meet Sheriff Mars ;-)

He's meditating to "recharge" his powers or something like that.
How'd u guess?
The only other option is that he's trying to shield his soul from Maul's satanic glare by closing his eyes and praying to the Lord. If you wanna go with that, then hey, fine.
I like that option the best.
Amen.
If I wanted to see what Vietnam was really like I'd watch a documentary or read a book. Speaking of, the book Tiger Force, about a platoon in Vietnam that got way out of hand, is really good. Two writers from my local paper (The Toledo Blade) won the Pulitzer for investigative reporting for it.
Full Metal Jacket is amazing, as is any Kubrick movie. He's the greatest filmmaker of all time in my book, and 2001: A Space Odyssey is my favorite movie of all time.
I mean the forcefields (or whatever they were) themselves. Why did they have a bunch of them back to back to back to back in some hallway? And why were they turning on and off? Maybe there is a good reason, but like I said, all ignored points in the movie because I was so entertained by the fight itself. And Qui-Gon's Awesomeness. And it's the PT.
I just got Firefox 4 and it's great. That is all.
I'm sure it's just YouTube aka Google covering their collective asses, LF has never shown any interest in shutting things down before have they? Why would they start now?

This thread is disgusting.
Only read page one, so hopefully it gets better and evolves into a bunch of immature jokes (because that would be a massive improvement), but I am not even going to keep reading to find out.
You should have kept going it quickly evolved into exactly that lol

I met a lot more than just them, got a lot of autographs and pics as well, I have to admit, meeting Arnold was a highlight for me, but you only got like a minute to talk and his Security moved him on, but chatting with BIG Lou, was a BLAST.
You met Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the HULK!
I remembered you saying something to that effect elsewhere on the board that's why I used that picture. But meeting Norris and Arnold back in the nineties would have been pretty sweet, I'm jealous.
And the "cumming" scene in that movie is the greatest.
I had a girl in one of my classes once named Leia. I'm don't remember if that's how she spelled it but it's how she pronounced it.
Still, I think it's pretty unique. That's the only one I've heard in my life besides Organa.

Not sure what "devil's cigarette" is, but no I do not smoke either, I was to much into weightlifting and bodybuilding in my younger days to get into smoking, drinking, partying, etc.
So was Ahnold
And thought all the abbreviations on here were bad before!

Shadow of the Sith was awesome. How did that movie become serious!? And the ending, I was a little surprised at first, but.... I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but it was great.
Another part I liked about the PT no one has mentioned: The part during the duel of the fates scene where the forcefields or whatever come on and all three of them are separated and QuiGon just kneels and Maul is pacing in front of him - badass. Why is this happening? I don't know, but it's cool nonetheless. That's the way you have to look at a lot of things in the PT I think, but it all works out better if you do.
And Ziggy I does today count as next week since it's Sunday? I NEED TO KNOW!
/\ I totally agree about the movie. But the way I look at it is this - the movie is Joss' way of showing us where his show was going, while still making an awesome movie. And in that regard, the movie makes the show even better I think.
It shows the potential it had, and you can just imagine how the show could have unfolded had FOX not completely fucked it up in every way (showing almost every episode out of order WHAT THE WHAT!)
Also I don't know if you've seen any of the comics he's done, but they help link the show to the movie better (for example, it shows the fate of the "hands of blue" guys). Not a perfect remedy, but he had to work with what he could do, and he did it pretty damn well.
Can't wait for the Whedon's Avengers!!!

Currently watching Firefly on the Science channel. Entertaining show that I wish I knew was on when it was still new... And stop saying "new episode of Firefly next" science channel!!!
One of the greatest shows of all time, especially with only episodes. And the movie was great too.
My username at FE.org is BigDamnHero, a reference to Firefly
I've been wanting to watch this fan edit of TPM called Shadow of the Sith for a while but I never could muster the desire to do so. So I made this thread.
off to watch
