If your friend doesn't like scary movies why force them to do so? Why not jsut respect that they know what they can handle and what they can't? Isn't that what friends do?

As for the new DotD. I saw it, and I quite liked it. I'm not big on zombie films, but I got a kick out of this one. Its not scary, except in the sense that its a hopeless scenario, and hte idea of having to kill loved ones who come back to eat you is pretty chilling, but I wouldn't classify it as a horror movie (though it is gory)

The acting was surprisingly good for this sort of film, and I really thought Jake Weber gave his best performance to date. Sarah Polley was great, and super hot as always.

George Lucas halts Indy IV production due to disagreements with the script

But the Indiana Jones chronicles showed Indy in modern day as a withered old man with an eye patch (and a nasty scar)

GL considers this show to be canon and part of the Indy mythos so he's not likely to contradict it.

I'm not sure how the grail functioned before coming to the temple, perhaps it didn't. I'm just going by what is said in the movie, if you wish to remain immortal you cannot leave. Indy and his dad are not immortal at the end of Last crusade, nor do I expect that were granted any extension of life, the lesson that they both learned was to let things go and enjoy life.

As for Elsa (I use to have a big crush on her) I'm not sure if she's alive or not, that had never occured to me. It would be kind of creepy if she was alive for all time buried under the rocks.

As a side note, that whole scene where she falls into the pit while reaching for the grail is directly ripped off from an episode of the old Adam West Batman show where Catwoman falls to her death in a cave crevice while reaching for a bag of jewels. Its almost shot for shot the same as what transpires in IJatLC.

Me too. I feel bad that I've left it for so long, but whenever I come across the trade I never have any cash (I think its like $50+ Canadian)

I haven't read the dark knight sequel either, but I've heard its shamefully bad.

AICN reported the other day that Rodiguez resigned from the directors guild because he wants to give Miller a co-director credit on the SC movie and he knew the guild would get in a tizzy so he just handed in his resignation.

I really hope all this hype and fuss ends up with a great movie at the end, SC is the sort of material that if its anything short of magnificent it will be terrible terrible crap.

Its one of my dreams to make the movie version of '300' I've already got some ideas for it.

Indy would only have been immortal if he had never left the temple in canyon of the crescent moon, that was the rub when it came to the holy grail, you lived forever but only if you didn't leave. Thats why the knights brothers died and Indy found his corpse in the sewer in Venice.

CGI Attack: 3D models database

If you guys do anything with those models, don't forget to inform/credit the modelers of/for it. Hmm... if I find the time, I might make an originaltrilogy.com rendermovie... doing custom-banners is getting a bit dull of late. I'll post all my custom banners (in the proper forum section of course) soon.

But of course. Credit where credit is due, there is some very nice work done on this page.

I'm the opposite, I want an Anakin that i can like so when he turns evil it feels like a dramatic event. As it stands he was like 90% evil in AOTC already, I feel like we missed too much of his development between TPM and AOTC

The acting is suppose to be stupid and childish. The whole point is to show how such behavior can lead to disaster. People complain about the acting of Jedi to be wooden but thats because Jedi are trained not to show emotion. Thats like saying the acting of the Terminator is wooden. The acting in the prequals is fine.

But the Jedi draw there power from emotions so it makes no sense for them to be that way.

Is this an original Troops DVD or a DVDR?

Fanfilmmakers are not allowed to sell their movies, or else GL will eat them. Thats why fanfilms are allowed to exist, because there is no distrubution or money changing hands.

If ther was then LFL would shut down fanfilming.

Sof r the TROOPS dvd your best bet is to find the total movie dvd, or someone who has it and copy it.
