The powers that be have put me in a very difficult position. Apparently "Mike" a LFL employee that is a resident of this site has been talking to mods and now I am forbidden to post anything regarding next years DVDs. So for all those who were expecting screenshots and new info today I'm sorry. The funny part is I am believed to be a liar, yet nobody is questioning if "Mike" is who he says he is. LOL To all those who DO believe in me you will not be let down. 2007 is not that far off and soon enough the truth will be known to all.

Is that the ending they are using? I heard it was something entirely new. Also, didn't they film some new material for the movie using props from Superman Returns? It was my understanding that The Donner Cut would tie directly into Superman Returns.

These new bonus discs are not bad for a pre-release. I am watching ROTJ right now. Since I am not watching them on a widescreen television the non-anamorphic argument is neglegable. The sound mix is sort of tiney from how I remember the 1993 Definitive Edition Laser Discs. I still enjoy the LD too for the sound.

I can't wait. The Donner Cut has me really excited. I just wish they could have got Richard Lester to do a commentary on his version.

Since HD and Blu-Ray are fighting for the home video market 2007 is going to bring with it some fantastic DVD releases. I am so excited not just for what's coming in 2007, but in November all the Superman movies including Superman II The Richard Donner Cut will be making there way to glorious DVD treatment. What do you think? I for one think Superman is finally getting what it deserves considering the crappy DVD set that came out in 2001.

What is the difference between complaining about alterations in Star Trek or alterations in Star Wars? Trek fans will go through a period where they love changes but then they will be like most people here and want the changes gone.

Zion. you closed the thread I started specifically for new information. Thats unacceptable. All that proves to me is I'm being "flamed" so to speak by a mod. I don't much care about hotheads like Cable slamming me because thats what they do. If people really want to benefit from any future information that I get, I should be allowed to have a thread devoted to it. This is the second time you have gone in favor of those hotheads. OK Zion, but the majority of people here think it's all bullshit anyway. So what difference does it make? All the naysayers are clamoring for some type of source. I got my sources permission before I released her name. The bottomline is I'm tired of playing games. If I was being nice enough to share this with originaltrilogy.com and I believe in it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. However, tomorrow I will have something more than just my text. The level of childish behavior I have witnessed on the site since I let my knowledge out is exactly the reason why Star Wars fans have such a bad name. I'm just dropping the subject.

My source has revealed to me that tomorrow I will have two screenshots. I do not know what they will be. Since Zion took upon himself to close my thread claiming it was because of me leaking out names. I have also decided not to post any new information to originaltrilogy.com. This site is just not mature enough to handle anything without stuff resulting in shouting matches, name calling and other inappropriate things of that nature. Zion I understand why you think you did what you had to do. I also think it was in reality just a bullshit excuse to close the thread. Especially when people were starting to give me the benefit of the doubt and I was posting in friendlier territory. I will continue to post my findings but I'll find a more deserving site. People made a habit of calling me a "TFN troll", but hell maybe I'll try posting over there. This really has been a disrespectful experience. I will continue to post in threads unrelated to Star Wars while I am here to avoid any futher problems.
