Star Wars: REBORN - The Complete Saga (* unfinished project *)
Time

Time is a resource just like any other.

By taking time out to do a project like this it would take a busy chap like Adywan away from his other work and he is a perfectionist so if he were to do it he would want to edit from materials he was happy with which would probably mean waiting for the OT:R and PT:R being finished (many years from now).

So wait, what?! He's going to revisit the PT as well?!
Well that's a first... I never saw this being mentioned anywhere.
If OT:R takes this much time, how will he possibly hope to fix the mess that is PT?

But who knows... Maybe one day ID and TJ will find new energy and try to tackle this again.  They were the founders of this style edit, and IMO had the strongest ideas, so I keep hoping.

I was thinking the exact same thing! :)

Star Wars: REBORN - The Complete Saga (* unfinished project *)
Time

It would seem my habit of stumbling upon great posts too late has caught up with me again. I was extremely thrilled to see the youtube trailers, only to have my hopes shattered a few pages further ahead. (No offence InfoDroid). Not to sound too harsh about A-Man's editing skills, but is there a way maybe for Adywan to breathe new life into the Reborn project?

Since InfoDroid was excited about using Ady's Revisited footage, it makes all the more sense for the source to finish the job, no? Seeing how extremely talented Adywan is, I'm sure a project like Reborn should take far less time than say for example ESB:R (since it wouldn't take new input, budgets, etc..).

Is that all? lol Who says that Cloud City doesn't rotate? As well as the Falcon changing direction to compensate for a moving floating city thus accounting for the sun being in different places.

(Radi0n edit: etc...)

Come back to it later if it's not to your standards but overall it looks crazy awesome.  Don't too hard on yourself mate but thank you for being such a perfectionist!

(Radi0n edit: etc...)

(No offence for the edit Rogue Leader)

I whole heartedly agree! Instead of leaving it still, have the damn thing rotate. It actually makes perfect sense if you think about it, why shouldn't it rotate? I for one would love to see your take on it.

And a good night sleep might bring relief the morning after.
I too think you should put Cloud City on hold and continue working on another part.
DON'T WORRY ADY, you're doing great, and we applaud every moment of it!

As such, I agree with Rogue Leader.
I say we drop the whole thing, and put faith in what Ady does.
We've done it once before, and look at the sheer quality of what he gave us.

Trust in Ady, and let him (and this useless debate) be.
May the Force be with him. (Corny, I know)

The Devastator needed to disable the Tantive 4 with a blast in order to pull it in, and that was in persuit, with that in mind would a tractor beam be that effective in capturing vessels accelerating towards them when they were almost static?

Also remember the scenes that follow with the pursuit of the Falcon...

J

If anything, in my opinion, it would be easier as they're moving towards them, and could therefore use their momentum to pull them in easier. No?

I'm really, really sorry cause it's way off topic, but I couldn't resist it... I found this photo of Jake Lloyd (little Ani in the PT) now in his twenties, and I said to myself "Boy! Definitely, he is not the chosen one".

Happy week-end to everyone! :)

The Force? Definite NO. Looks more like FORK powers to me. :)

I really don't think ESB needs anything added and the SE is a good example of that.

Read it through... twice.

Yeah, that made me do a double take, too!  Wait, what's going on with this project? lol

I was talking about adding scenes when someone asked if i would be using any of the deleted scenes from the Blu-Ray set.

Don't sweat it, Ady.  I knew exactly what you meant.  Taking the quote out of context is definitely eyebrow raising, however! :)

Here here, I concur. Everyone stop panicking! :) We know what you mean Ady, that's what I tried to imply as well.

HUH?! So what have I been watching all this time??

Trust me Loconut, you really don't want to know ;)

no one wants to seed to hit and run asses anymore, not saying you are one,but there are a lot of them out there.

Are any of LeoneNut's edits (still) available on rapidshare? Because all I see is UseNext comments... I already found "...in the West Italian Extended" and "Sin City Recut Extended...", for which I thank you very much LeoneNut, but all the others are nigh retrievable.

What the... I just got a mail saying a/my (?) forum post was deleted? Anyone care to elaborate? I don't have the slightest clue really...

Back on Topic:

It would be fun though if Ady could put together a short scene of AT&T's galloping, maybe as a blooper or something? =)
