FYI: Those who can’t get to the Spleen can also search for
movie_star_wars_episode_iv_a_new_hope_1977_silver
and you’ll find a Mega link via reddit

Thanks for the tip-off!

Weird. It lets me download every file except the for film itself (0004.m2ts, 34.26GB). Anyone else have this problem?

I might be wrong, but it won’t start the download because the 35GB size of the file is already past the max download limit for free users, which is 5GB. You’ll have to upgrade your account temporarily (if you have one) so you can download it. Again, I might be wrong but that’s what I think.

Highlander II - The ZEIST Collection (Released)

Probably the only people you are going to get that from are Mitch and Phineasbg. Neither of whom have been active on the boards recently, so you may be out of luck there, for the time being.

Someone on MySpleen uploaded a LaserDisc rip of his Highlander II copy, which was the base for their Restored American Cut, so I’ve got that for the time being 😃 Thanks again for the upload, boosh!

I’ve got a copy. I’ll dig it out and get it on Myspleen when I have a chance.

Thank you very much, booshman! Downloading now 😃 I was hoping you’d have both copies (European and American). I have the TF1 DVD myself, but I’m afraid to watch it lol with all of the aforementioned sync issues…

Does anyone else happen to have a copy of the Restored American Cut?

Idea: Two Prequels instead of Three
Time

Had a discussion today with a guy on fanedit.org who wants to do a 3-in-1 of the prequels. I agree with you Dalton that it would be much better suited to bring it down to two films, and bridging the gap in the middle of AOTC is a fantastic way of doing it!

It takes care of both time jumps (TPM>AOTC/AOTC>ROTS) and you still get to keep plenty of (decent) footage to tell your story.

Will be keeping tabs on this 😃

Star Wars OT & 1997 Special Edition - Various Projects Info (Released)

Is it possible someone reuploads to a filesharing server or torrent website for the time being? When dark_jedi released his original versions I was able to get them by sending him Blu-Rays to test with but I haven’t gotten a response more recently when I asked him if the same deal could be struck to get the SE BD’s.

I haven’t got MySpleen access myself (and I’m sure some others don’t either) so this might be helpful?

Dude, there's even a Dug in Jabba's Palace. When everyone else is sleeping, he's apparently still walking around. Go figure...

Lucas screwed up too much this time. I'm glad I'll always have these Blu's and ady's Revisited project to show to my children, because this is an utter mess.

If it weren't for the buttload of extras, I wouldn't have ordered the Saga version either.

maybe an off topic question but is there ever going to be any other film franchise to be revisited after star wars?

Check the entire forum. Stuff gets revisited all the time. That's why there are sections called Other Preservations and Fan Projects. and Other Fan Edits.

Well, just got past taking a good hard look at all three BDs myself, and while I don't own a surround sound system (yet), I can definitely vouch for the picture quality. It is unlike anything Star-Wars related I have ever seen before.

If my Star Wars Complete Saga box arrives, I can damn well guarantee you I will take this set over HD pink sabers any day.

Even coming straight from my television, rather than a sound system, the audio is still noticeably better than any other DVD release, and comes pretty damn close to ordinary run-of-the-mill BD audio master tracks.

I'm not going to go in extreme detail, since so many have done this before me. I can only say I totally approve their reviews, and embrace this set wholeheartedly.

These are keepers. Fine job DJ, damn fine job.

Superman III Extended DVD Artwork
Time

Hi guys.

Quick question:

Can anyone provide the cover to this extended cut?
I've downloaded it from tehparadox, but I can't find a cover for it.

I also found Rikter's post (see below) HERE, but those links are dead.
