I may be wrong but I think Marty had Van Halen playing on his walkman in that scene.

The Delorean would look pretty cool as part of the rebel fleet!

Maybe insert it as an easter egg in the scene where the Falcon escapes along with the Avenger's scrap and garbage?

Or maybe have the rebels building a death star-y station that will manage to eliminate the empire thread in ROTJ. Then have a battle station battle between cybertron and unicron.. i mean death star and life star

I think Ady said he'll make it so that Boba is Jango's real son, not a clone, and as Boba wasn't brought up by Jango since he was about 10, there is no need for them to sound the same, it would actually be very unlikely.

Interesting angle. I may have not stressed this enough in my post, but I actually only wanted to know from such a point of view where you would consider Boba a Jango-clone, no strings attached. No changes in upbringing, no differences due to being raised without growth hormones, etc...
Just plain old clones look and sound like their original. Period.

If you take in calculation the different upbringing and what-not, then of course it makes more sense for Boba not to sound the same as Jango.

Besides, I think we can all agree Wingreen's performance outclasses Morisson's by a mile (if not more).

Clones in PT were the same because they ate, drank and trained the same. They lived together in equal spaces. But Boba had a different life than clones, you don't know what Boba has been doing.

Sounds very logical. Never thought of it that way.

And also - the original voice kicks ass, but Morrison's version, on the other hand, sounds boring.

True. Morrison's version is inferior by far, I'll give you that.

OT>PT. No matter what.

Obviously.

He's not Australian, don't blame us. He's a Kiwi.

Never meant to. But you've got to admit, he sure sounds like one.
Then again, New Zealand being so close to Austrialia is a Ric Olie explanation.

Adywan has said every damn time this has come up that he will be changing the voice in the PT to match.

Yes well, if you tackle the whole OT ánd PT, you pretty much eliminate EVERY conceivable flaw Lucas ever created. In which case, I rest mine.

Thank you both for the clear-cut answers.

No I have no intention of working on any of the Star Wars spin offs

As much of a talented artist as you may be, which I still find extraordinary, since you're self-taught, I still think it's great that you're not touching anything besides OT and PT.

Now I've got a question that still bothers me quite a bit.
I know, trust me, I KNOW, that virtually no-one was happy when Lucas had Temuera Morisson dub the lines of Jason Wingreen, but doesn't it make sense?

They're all clones, so they should all sound alike. If the OT was set first, it would make sense for the clones to have Wingreen's voice. But we all know Lucas revisits his OT about a thousand times while creating the PT, so there's no way that would work, so he got it the other way around by having Morisson change all the Wingreen lines.

In short: Why not keep Morisson's voice? It's the one that makes sense.
(Even though you can hear the Australian accent at times)

@The others: I know you're all going to shoot me for it, and I know Ady will reinstate Wingreen's voice in (let's face it) all its glory.
I just want to see Ady's reasoning behind it. Nothing more.

dark_jedi: Will these be released as dual-layer DVD's to allow for maximum bit-rates for the video and soundtracks?

If you are short on DL DVD-R's to test the final results, I'm sure some fellows on the forum could help with that. Well worth it so these can be mastered from the uncompressed source files for playing in a DVD player at the highest possible quality. :)

I second that.

Quite honestly, my enormous respect for Ady would drop a few bars if he ever revisited the dull clone wars cartoons...

Why?

It's a cartoon, it's a different spectrum. I think it would be interesting to see what Adywan could do with it since he's also an amazing painter*/drawer.

Trying something a little different is not a bad thing, you know.

*Quite honestly I'm very excited to see what he'll do with the DVD cover for ESB:R. The painting he did for ANH, for me, was very inspiring.

Another thing learned. In that case, I vote YES on proposition Clone Wars! :)

Sorry for the mistake. I'm not american. Actually english isn't my native language. I was referring to what you call "sabre burn marks", we haven't known those till PT

Ady didn't add those because they were in the PT. He added scorch marks because that is how the physics of light sabers work.

Spot on. (What I said)

Thats actually a good idea Monro, but how about making them another colour than red as alomost everything else has that colour?

Blue? green?

Would be a good idea for a large and busy city like this to actually have some kind of warning lights ob them, unless they want a some sort of a shuttle or craft in their window.

If Ady agrees on this idea, I'd go with blue. Blue is nice... Blue? :p

Just a small update LOL, I am watching my "new" version of ANH now, yes I made yet another one, keep finding things to make it better, and also re did the DD 5.1 audio yet again as well, if everything is good this time, this is final, also rendering another "new" version of ESB, and going to re do its DD 5.1 audio as well, so hopefully these 2 can be done and FINAL by the end of the week, because really there is not much more I can do with it now.

Also I got the final artworks for this set to, Thanks sluggo, very nice work! you guys will see the artwork when the movies start getting released.

Indeed, I think we're all very excited about the v3 GOUT and '97 SE releases.
Does the artwork maintain the 'original' SE poster artwork, or is it something brand new? You really got me curious there :)

It is about as SE as it gets.  It does have the posters, but I tried to put my own touch on the layout.

I've seen your previous work, so I'm sure it will turn out great.
