I don't recall Obi-Wan ever referring to Anakin as 'Annie'.
That was Padmé's thing. (And to lesser extent; *shudders* Jar-Jar)

35 seconds in. Sir Alec Guiness would never drop a D!

Indeed, if you crank up the volume to an insane amount, it becomes crystal clear that he does say Annie was a good friend.
Although, I might add, Darth Editous, I was referring to PT.
I simply forgot to specify. I don't recall him calling Anakin Annie in the PT.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I've recently thought that Ben says "Annie was a good friend." in ANH - not "and he" as I thought before - which would make ANH the first mention of Skywalker Sr's (nick)name. You could argue it was poorly pronounced, but it was Alec Guiness!

Consider this: a full-time editor is supposed to finish editing a film in 1-3 months for a feature film, and then there's also 2-6 months for effects.

It depends on what you're up against.

To name one editor's work (Uncanny Antman);
Jericho Cane
took him one month only (on-and-off).
If he could have worked non-stop, he probably would have finished his work in half that time.
Dark Angel: Children of the Revolution, on the other hand, took him around a full year, again, with on-and-off periods.

CBB worked only 9 weeks on War of the Worlds, Extinctive Cut,
and a measly 15 days on Reflections.

It depends on what you're planning to do with your edit, how much free time you have (you can not predict  future events), and not to mention the experience and materials you have at your disposal.

I agree.

Lord of the Rings is good, but not Star Wars good!

I'm still very curious to see if you can outperform Infodroid's trilogy trailer work. I mean, no offence, but he that thing lasted like, what?, two minutes? And he managed to move me on the brink of tears.

That stuff was nuts!
I CAN'T WAIT to see what you're going to do with it! :)

Aspects matters not. Look at our lives. Judge them by aspects, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is Buffy, and a powerful ally it is. Entertainment creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel Buffy around you; here, between you, me, the television, the coffee table, everywhere, yes. Even between today and ten days ago.

I have to be honest and say that hearing C3PO's voice that low, is much of a change, and kind of weird at first. If you intend to keep it, I suggest definitely adding an English subtitle track to the full length film, just to make sure, because I didn't quite understand his dialogue.

Anakin's voice change is very good though. That's sure to keep him from sounding even less like a whiny girl at some points. The scene where he confesses to Padmé having killed the Tusken camp comes to mind. That one should definitely benefit from it.

When I logged in and caught up on things recently, I was amazed at how rude one of our members was toward another member who was only expressing his griefs and heartfelt concern toward Adywan. I don't need to mention names because we all know who I am talking about here. It seemed to settle down before I had come on, so I choose to not get involved. And yet I find myself logging in again tonight, and feeling disgusted yet again over the same member being abusive towards a different member, who just asked a simple question. This time I cannot bite my tongue.

By the way, that one guy who was being insulted by the other guy, sends his regards and gratitude for your sympathy.

PS to Radius: btw, what I like in the sig I mentionned as nothing to do with your presence in it. Just thought you'd appreciate to know.

The only reason I saw vb's signature is because of Frink's remark.
Otherwise I wouldn't even have noticed.

But thank you anyway.

That would still result in a shrunken, ingrown universe. Furthermore, it fails to satisfy the question as to why a slave on Tatooine needs an etiquette and protocol droid.

So very true. He claims he built it to aid his mother at home, but when you remove the line where he reveals just that, basically because he didn't, the droid loses all purpose, both in presence and existence.

Anakin making C3PO is just ridiculous. He now only has one line, and his voice is altered so that he seems like just some random protocol droid.

According to official sources, including Anthony Daniels himself, C3PO was built on Affa, only to be taken in by Anakin at a later stage. That doesn't make him the maker, but the owner. Wouldn't it somehow fit better to just try and remove Anakin mentioning he's building a droid?

Another reason why I don't use this forum much and stick with the Facebook updates... BITCHINESS! It eludes the point that we're here to celebrate "ESB:R" and support one man in these difficult times. I've been on and off OT for 4-5 years - can people just take the petty squables in private messages or block the offending muppets. Donate, debate, suggest or praise - if not either - take it with a pinch of salt (or) take your thumb out of your a** and bitch elsewhere! Anyhoo - time to make the missus a cuppa!

Believe it or not, I couldn't agree more.

I NEVER SAID NOT TO SUPPORT ADYWAN IN THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

If you deduct THAT from what I said, it's quite clear to me you don't even read my posts proper. But that's your choice to make.

Kudos on having noticed I no longer ignored you, though.

Radi0n said:

Ady, I applaud your efforts to continue the project looking back on what ill fate has befallen your family. I wouldn't mind at all if you put Revisited on hold, completely, until your father gets better.

Honestly vbangle, I think you're just reading too much into this.  Yes, it can be interpreted as Radi0n telling adywan he has permission to put the project on hold if you want to look at it very literally.  But it seems obvious he was just showing support.  I say let it go.

*two cents*

TV's Frink, I couldn't care less about his signature.
Putting me in his signature only shows I'm getting on his nerves, which is actually quite amusing since I --again--, couldn't care less.

My intentions of showing support were indeed obvious, although not to some.
