King Kong a la Peter Jackson
Time
LOL, my keyboard was made in Korea in the last century. No chance it has some magical gimmicks that make it possible to type Polish characters. It's the Windows that allows me to do it: if I had US version, I'd have to use special residential driver - Central European edition has those character maps and drivers built in, so when I press rightAlt+a/e/o/c/s/n/l/z/x I get my letters. If I want those letters used by motti, I have either to run Character Map tool or use Alt+digits_combo. Please note I use "Polish programist" subset, the "Polish" subset uses the key setup like in standard Polish typewriters (which would give me a headache).

But of course such keyboards as you described do exist, e.g. Russian ones, not to mention Japanese etc. Maybe there is even a Polish one, but I hope that I'll never had to work with it

I guess motti just said that he uses a combo, like Alt+e or Ctrl+e to get é, è. I use standard keyboard (about 10 years old, LOL) and I still can type all those fancy Polish letters, like ó (unfortunately you won't see them unless the html page has correct code page as they're not in original ASCII set)

Check out this keyboard

If you use Windows, there is always Character Map tool

OK, here's the solution to my riddle:

Merian C. Cooper wasn't flying just in the movie, he was a real pilot, during World War 2 he served on Pacific Theatre of Operations, earning a rank of general in USAF. But that's not everything, shortly after WWI he founded a certain fighter squadron... which one? The answer is on USAF Museum webpage.

That's what Bossk tried to say
No need to "taste the freedom" if you've found "the one". I know that Gundark and I will agree with that statement. I may talk about other beautiful women, but I would never consider doing anything with any of them because I'm very happily married.
RRS, I had to write this, Mrs Bossk was standing right behind me

LOL!

Relax, Bossk, I was just playing devil's advocate. Now I have one more reason to respect you and Gundark, coz I hate playboys (=reason? they're stealing my potential "game" )

An ape with an apetite!

(no, I didn't say "ape tit" )

@Bossk: warm, warm

Stay on target, Merian! The producer/director/writer of King Kong also played a pilot (hint! hint!) of the plane which "scored" the ape kill.

If those hints are not enough to yeld a viable answer (via Yahoo or Google ), I'll finally give a link that explains everything

DAYV, motti - no offense, but I'm on the Bossk's & Gundark's side regarding Paris. She's definitely not in my type.

O tempora, o mores!
It used to be "Rags to Riches", but now it's "From B**wjob to Fame!" And you don't need to be a porn addict to know it, coz next to e-mails with V-i-@-g-r-@ you get P@ris hIlT0n nUd3 d0in BJ!

Oh well, looks like RRS is never going to stop complaining...

And since we've moved to a nasty subject... (definitely NOT a safe link )

Discussion: does anyone has $1000 to spare?
Time

…I could buy myself something like this:

LOL! this is a quality replica, not like those sold for $50.
Here is more.

Anyway, while surfing on the Net I found a guy from my city (well, more like from Tricity, but who cares about the details ) who broke his piggy bank and bought himself a full set of stormtrooper armor.

And you thought that I’m probably a freak?

Lucasarts cancels Sam'n'Max 2

I'm mad on George for doing this stuff now and then - the AMT/ERTL had to cancell production of all old SW plastic model kits to make more room for Prequel garbage. I foolishly waited to buy new batch of old SW models that would be supposedly made in new molds, in scale - just like prequel stuff. To my disappointment (it's an understatement: I'm still pulling my hair when I think of it... it's a horror to me!) the only thing that gets manufactured now is prequel ships and vehicles - and the supplies of old models run out... I don't have the $$$ to buy expensive Japanese ones or order the garage-produced sets overseas (from USA).

Guys, isn't something wrong with this industry (and others too) ? Those big-time company bosses hire companies for predicting how this or that particular game could sell. Looks like they're just wasting money as they make more and more bad decisions... cancelling Sam'n'Max 2, Fallout 3 (or dumping Original Trilogy into nonexistence) created huge protests, tens of thousands people are signing petitions - and this is just small percentage of the potential target buyers.

Darn, looks like those fat execs forgot what people really want to buy...
