Poor Hayden. He’s not even a bad actor, considering he was given terrible dialogue to work with and then made to deliver it to mostly blue and green screens you can hardly blame him for anakins character being such a disappointment. I actually think he does for the most part a decent job with what he’s given. The problem is what he was given was usually trash so it’s going to sound lame regardless of him.

Days of Wine and Roses (1962) - Perhaps Hollywood’s best depiction of alcoholism, with great performances from Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick. It goes a bit far out there that it sometimes loses its effectiveness for me, particularly in the second act, but it’s very strong material. Especially that ending!

The 2011 mix fixed a glitch with reverse panned music in the surround channels but I can’t emphasize how much better the 97 mix is. Not for the whole trilogy just SW. For me personally the 2011 mixes for esb and rotj are fine.
