With a projector this can actually be cheaper than you think. I have a 120 inch screen and everything together it probably cost about $800, and that’s even including the surround system I got to go with it.
Granted I got a bit lucky with the projector finding a Chinese knockoff for around $400. But the only thing that seems “cheap” about the presentation is it’s interface, it’s gui is quite tacky, but I don’t have to use it much and I’d consider it a well worthy trade off for saving 300 or more bucks on it.
The real trick is having the perfect room for it, so I was lucky there as well.
It also sadly isn’t 4k, but it’s 1080P looks gorgeous enough for me.
I guess that makes this post completely off topic, but just wanted to chime in and say having a huge screen isn’t as insurmountable as some think. Especially if 1080P is good enough for you. A TV that size would be unspeakably expensive.
