I would love to see a 70 mm film someday. As it is the projector and screen in my living room already look better than the local theater. (I would imagine because they are both digital, and since the screen size is considerably smaller-120 inches-the image is allowed to sharper but because it’s in my living room obviously I’m closer to it so to my perspective it “looks” as big as a theater screen, close anyway. But I’m sure it’s no match for 70 mm.

Or just smoke some good weed lol for a safer but still enhanced experience

My plan worked perfectly. I returned my bar stools and got: a domino’s gift card I already spent
A new pair of shoes
Some pork chops to cook later
A frozen bag of mixed veggies and noodles that are just frozen not not processed that I can stir fry to my hearts content
Some cheezits.

All on store credit from returning two stools I lost the receipt for. I don’t get the hate for Walmart as a store. The complaint that I always hear is "omg the checkout lines are so long " well of course they are everybody wants to shop here you’re basically complaining that everybody likes it more than they anticipate. And, maybe other stores are worse than mine (and one of my jobs is to monitor the lines and call people up from the floor to check when needed and I’m the mentor in that role so maybe I’ve started to rub off on my protégés heh) about this but the most I’ve ever had to wait in line is behind maybe 2 people? Which is the same as any other store you go to so I don’t understand why it’s specifically Walmart that only gets the hate for that. People just see the lanes not being used and think they are there because they are all supposed to be used at the same time lol.

Or maybe my Walmart is just better than some on this issue.

I recently just watched the redlettermedia star wars reviews and loved them. But then I saw some of their “out of character” videos (half in the bag etc) and eh, lost me on the channel. They seem really smug and self righteous, and just generally were unlikeable to me. I might try some more of their in character videos sometime.

Hear as in could tell there was a low rumble? Yes. Was it as deep or rich as the laserdisc? Not quite, but it didn’t sound like crap. About like a YouTube video back when most videos were in 240P and the audio was also crippled.

It looks a tad too “blue” maybe somewhere in the middle would be better, but I think both versions look fine for the most part.

I was just going to say that—I think the '95 Faces LDs (same sound as '93 LDs) sound fantastic, in all respects (including the score).

The 93 mix sounds great for the sound effects for sure but I still think the score sounds awful. I guess it’s just me but I’m baffled. Almost baffled enough to post a/b samples of certain scenes but not tell which is which, but too much work.

The 93 mix is better than the 2004 mix by a mile though.

Hi dahmage. Have decided to return some bar stools I bought since time ago but never took out of the box at all to Walmart tonight. Just never worked up the motivation to put them together and they are taking up space. So might as well get something I want.

I lost the receipt so I’ll have to take store credit but you can use store credit to buy a gift card to domino’s. So I think we both know where this night is headed.
