To be fair to him, though he is an idiot and definitely has stupid politics, I don’t know that he’s racist so much as he just hates “hip hop culture”, which is still dumb and he probably just has started generalizing. At least he didn’t seem to come off as racist before he would talk about things like that. But maybe he is racist and hip hop culture just pushed him to break his silence on it who knows he’s still an idiot.

I actually like rogue one, and I think it’s a very well made movie, it’s just a bit dry. It takes a different mood that I need to be in to watch it than other star wars movies.

Whatever you want to make about his statement about hypocrisy, I don’t hear him say what you hear him say.

He says that women who don’t want to be sexually harassed but wear make-up to work are hypocrites. I consider that to be, at least in part, condoning sexual harassment. Imagine if I said, “Well, that person got raped, but really they shouldn’t complain about it because they wore perfume and makeup.” I bet, and hope, you’d at least think of that as rape-apologetics.

So he can say on the one hand a woman is hypocritical to wear makeup when she doesn’t want sexual harassment in the workplace, and on the other that sexual harassment is not condoned. Those things are not mutually exclusive.

That said, I disagree with his formalistic view and with his particular point here about a woman being hypocritical for wearing make-up.

No, the point of dating is to find someone who likes you despite your flaws, and vice versa. It’s not about lying to hide your flaws, or at least it shouldn’t be. Better to be upfront and let it end early than drag it out and let it crash and burn much later when your lies are exposed.
