I'm not exactly sure, I had some idea about a project that wasn't my best idea. You and some people made less than serious remarks about it (not making fun of me or anything, just having fun with me) and I got mad and took it all offensively and seriously and it was uncalled for on my part it should never have bothered me if I'd have been feeling like myself. Thanks for the support. And don't expect anything radical. By all this I merely mean I'll be cutting shots of them acting like children and looking like teddy bears and keeping the shots of them thrusting and throwing spears, throwing rocks, using slingshots (but NOT wicket hitting himself in the face... even if it is kinda funny ;)), and such. Mostly just cutting out stuff.
The phantom edit has horrible picture quality...

Thank you thank you! Btw, all lightsaber cores will be corrected to straight white, and the bleeding into the inner white core from the color of the blade will be totally fixed in every shot. I'm aware that the blu ray set fixed the one everybody talks about (which my first draft had already fixed anyway... the one in front of the emperor's face) but now all others will be corrected as well. It will be the same blades, but the white levels have been adjusted.
On a side note, I made a hybrid of SE/Original Empire Strikes Back which fixes all lightsaber blades as well in 1080P. I've seen alot of despecialized esb's (well... a couple) and while they were great works I haven't seen anybody fix how none of the lightsabers have truly white cores in the new transfer! NO MORE. :) If anybody is interested in my version I could upload it, I made it mostly for my own enjoyment.
Also I added dynamic brightness in the shot of luke underneath the imperial walker throwing a bomb in so it's darker and when he pulls out his lightsaber upped the contrast so that the core is white but everything else gets overshadowed (I used some shots from attack of the clones where anakin has his blade out in a dark room against dooku as a reference for how lightsabers make surrounding areas look in the dark)
Peaches are okay, and plums are acceptable in my eyes. But what I really go wild over is Peavey guitars.

Yoda will stay put. sorry. But I may try to add in Luke building his lightsaber if I can find a good place for it. I doubt I will color correct it, maybe subtle, but the HD versions have better colors than the GOUT in my opinion so I'm not sure what I would be trying to accomplish.
As far as despecializing goes, Hayden Christensen will be removed. As for the sarlaac pit, I don't see the point. It's supposed to be a creature anyway (In it's belly... digested... existing tentacles anyway?) so I don't see the need to replace what looks like a monster with a vagina but in lower image quality...
Not going away so much as coming back, and with an apology to all who notice me. What I mean is, for a long time I go thru cycles of posting and not posting. Well the only reason I'm making a post about this, is the last "cycle" I had where I posted for a little bit, I was a jerk (I'm sure it never bothered you TV's Frink, but I apologize for it anyway!) because of my own personal problems at the time. So I just wanted to apologize to anybody I may have irritated the last time I went thru a bout of posting here as I was pretty much an ass and it is not the real me!
To anybody attempting to quit cigarettes , try switching to pipe tobacco first! It is much less harmful than cigarettes, but that is not the point of this. The point is it is much, much, MUCH less addictive than cigarettes. All the hundreds of chemicals added to cigarettes for various purposes just are not there in pipe tobacco. So when you are ready to quit smoking, quitting pipe tobacco will be easier than quitting cigarettes would have been.
I do however smoke marijuana, and since it helps me in almost every aspect of my life I shall not quit!
I would advise people stay away from Spice however. That stuff is dangerous and messed me up, possibly for good. I fell into it's trap at a time when I was trying to get a job and needed to pass a drug test. Not a good idea! It WILL mess you up, sooner or later. It will give you anxiety so bad that it will interfere with your life. Off of it for several months, and I'm still slowly returning to normal. Just a warning from my experience: Stay away! It might claim to be legal pot, but IT IS NOTHING LIKE POT.
(I got the job in case you were wondering and that was the only test I will ever have to take so now I'm back to pot and slowly returning my life to normal... everything about living is so much better on pot compared to incense. )
Sorry if it seems like I just made a long post dedicated to doing drugs, that was not my intention. I just understand that Spice has become very popular in some parts of the world and wanted to warn everybody to stay away from it and if one person sees this and heeds my warning then it will be worth it!
Would anybody be interested in me taking this up again? I feel like it had a unique premise to the other rotj edits starting to surface. Well maybe not a unique premise, but unique execution perhaps. Some of my own favorite cuts I've made to it I haven't seen made in other edits of this film. (Not saying they weren't good edits!) I just feel like I might have had something here, and maybe a new 1080P version made now with a couple more years experience on my part might be appreciated? Also I still have that isolated score track and thank you it is SO helpful!
Oh god, Majora's Mask, what a game.... In my opinion it is at least equal if not superior to ocarina of time. The only thing Ocarina has over it is it's classic status and the just "out there" feeling the story gives me. Majora's Mask is alot deeper, the story is better thought out and much more unique (No rescuing princess zelda in this one... in fact she's not even in it other than a flashback link has). The script is also much better written, and the whole game is just ingeniously clever.
What I love most about these texture packs is it takes the classic games I love and brings them into the modern era, but without changing the formula or engine a bit. It's the same game your used to, it still uses the same exact game engine and code, it's completely faithful, yet it brings them from being outdated into feeling modern and fresh, while still being the same exact games.
However the retro super mario64 pack that makes it look like a cartoon is also awesome :)
The amount of sodium in almost all commercial food these days. The fact that if your like me and have high blood pressure (well, okay, I don't have high blood pressure, but I have a tendency to have it if I don't pay attention to how much sodium I take in and take medicine) you have to be a friggin millionaire to eat a proper diet cuz everything that's affordable is loaded with an absurd amount of sodium and things that aren't loaded with it cost a fortune. For the price of a healthy meal I could easily buy a new car. **
