That's awesome.  Also I want everyone to know that even though I never post in this topic I'm still going to make this edit.  (and just rest assured I am capable of it, I think I proved that years ago with the rough draft.)  I've just been, and continue to be, engulfed in my musical projects that I spend most of my free time recording, mixing, mastering, or just jamming.  When I get my next album done I plan to devote some time to this edit.

Speaking of that rough draft, does anybody still remember anything about it?  Ideas from it that could be improved?  Edits that really worked?  Edits that didn't work?  As sad and shameful it feels for me to say it, I honestly remember little to nothing about it.  I'm the one that made it, and I barely remember what I even did with it.  I remember a couple edits I made, but beyond that I couldn't tell you.  It was a time of heavy drug usage for me and I remember very little from it.

If anybody has any memories of what direction it was going and whether or not it was working, please feel free to input.  I've read some of the early pages in this edit and some of it is interesting.  I was surprised to see that at one point I was considering re-arranging the opening scenes and even made a mockup.  I wouldn't even consider doing that now, and I barely even remember going through that.

I'm afraid my views and beliefs on logs may be offensive to some people so I must refrain from voicing them.  I'm sorry, I hope you understand.

Oh I have no problem with bitching about bingowings not being here, it's bitching about bingowings himself that I'm bitching about.  There's a difference.

I'm not asking asking if it's ready or not, I'm asking if I may use it when it is out.  I'm not even ready for it yet anyway!

I ask because the previous agreement was that I was to edit the clips you sent me into my rip of the actual blu ray version, and now I'm asking if I may just use your version as that would be alot easier.

But now I'm starting to change my mind into thinking I should just edit the clips in as previously agreed, since you're releasing it as a 22 GB BD.  That's what I plan on releasing as well, but I will most likely have to re-encode it at some point so it might be better if I base off the full 36 GB version on the official blu ray version in order to maintain the highest quality.  (Meaning re-encoding a 36 GB file to 22 GB would be preferable to encoding an already 22 GB file to another 22 GB file)

Which brings me to my next question, are the small clips you have sent me all the work that you have done just spread out, or will your full version contain small rotoscopes that aren't available to me in the clip form?  It'd be nice if I could just easily incorporate those clips into my full encode without missing anything so that when I do eventually make my encode it would basically be a 40 GB version of your work ready to be downsized.  :)

I don't know where to find it, but I can tell you that there is a 1080P (or i at least) version of the 97 SE out there that would have sebastian shaw.

I wish you luck in your project, and would you mind if I just use your version as a base for my edit instead of manually editing in all the clips you've sent me into my cut (it's a little tedious... lol)?  When I do get around to finishing my edit anyway.

I'd like to bitch about bitching about bingowings in two different threads.  One is more than enough!

No, it doesn't.  You're telling yourself that.  The two of you aren't mutually exclusive, regardless of what you might think.  I want bingowings back, alot of people do, and I highly doubt any of those people want you to leave, me included.
